Anyone buy this? Are the extra features something you make use of frequently? If so $20 seems pretty reasonable. Mike

| Almond Pound Cake - workout miracle. | 12 Mar 2004 18:30 GMT | 7 |
OK - it isn't a miracle, but it's what I've been using before my workouts. It gives me the energy to complete the workout, tastes good, and has just enough carbs to keep my trainer happy. He still isn't convinced that I should be following a low-carb plan, but he can't

| Milestone reached - <100 lbs to go! | 12 Mar 2004 16:26 GMT | 13 |
I got on the scale this morning and saw that I just reached a significant milestone -- less than 100 pounds left to lose! I don't really have a goal date for loss, I just take it as it comes. It feels great to have only 2 digits left to lose!

| Gas, no SA's | 12 Mar 2004 14:05 GMT | 7 |
You don't have to eat stuff with sugar alcohols to get bad gas pains. I've got 'em right now from eating about one cup of brocolli earlier today. At least, that's the most likely culprit. Guess I'll buy some Gas-X or something, cause no way in hell am I giving up brocolli.

My inner WFFID has had the advantage recently. I have managed to avoid much overeating and bad eating by controlling what I have around me. I bring low-carb snacks to work so that I don't need to hit the vending machine. I count calories carefully. I've had some success.

Where can I buy these? How do make these? I picked some up at a Stop&Go while on a trip and loved them. They were under a light bulb at 2am at this small roach infested gas stop

| unexplained hunger | 12 Mar 2004 04:31 GMT | 11 |
For the past 5 days I have experienced a severe increase in hunger and cravings - I have not changed anything at all - I have lost over 50 lbs at this WOE, eat the same foods from the same manufacturers, have not changed my exercise plan, am not on any new meds, etc.,

| Peanut lamentation. | 12 Mar 2004 03:04 GMT | 12 |
With great regret, I am now admitting that I can't handle peanuts. I went on OWL recently and tonight my mom came home from a trip to South Carolina, bringing with her a gift for me-- a burlap sack of salted-in-the-shell peanuts (pretty hard to find around here) and a can of boiled ...

| Starbucks' Frappa Carb Count? | 12 Mar 2004 03:01 GMT | 10 |
A question from a newbie in the UK -- I love the frozen coffees from Starbucks and am hoping that as they are made from cream, ice cubes and coffee only that the carb count won't be high......I have drank them whilst lo-carbing and they don't give me a carb high or cravings but ...

| Help! Loosing weight on Atkins, but cholesteral is way up. | 12 Mar 2004 02:59 GMT | 18 |
So, I've been doing the Atkins diet, and have lost 20 lbs. in two months. That's the good news. The bad news is that my cholesterol, which has always been lousy, is now really lousy. This in spite of the claims by the Atkins proponents that just the opposite should happen. LDL and ...

| Did I mess up? Evaluate this cereal, please! | 12 Mar 2004 02:52 GMT | 20 |
I bought a box of what I thought was a good, whole grain cereal... but did I buy something that's too high carb? I haven't eaten any yet during Phase 1... but is this too carb-y even for next week? It's Barbara's Bakery GrainShop. A half-cup has:
