Suppliments06 Mar 2004 17:40 GMT7
I have been doing induction for a week and a half. I started taking a
multi-vitamin at the beginning as well as a B complex. It was just a vitamin
my wife picked up at the suggestion of the local pharmacist. I was looking
at it today and noticed in the ingredient list it contains ...
low-carb junk food comparison06 Mar 2004 17:31 GMT4
I just about poisoned myself so you don't have to.
Following up the great answers to my question about what to eat on a hike, I
decided to check out the low-carb energy bars anyway, even though I thought
they were likely to be awful candy bars.
Sexual question & Atkins!06 Mar 2004 17:05 GMT26
This is a SERIOUS question, honest to God it is!  :)
Would swallowing cum cause anything negative while doing induction on Atkins?
Thanks
trader joe ?06 Mar 2004 16:13 GMT12
Does anyone know if trader joe's has low carb tortillas?  Anything else that
is good for low carb?  How about cereal?
Thanks, debra
Single digits left to lose06 Mar 2004 16:11 GMT18
Finally, 9 pounds left to lose.  Single digits to go!
Of course, this still might get modified as the final target
but, for now this is it and it is going to be very close to
where I believe I can comfortably maintain and be reasonably
Sweetzfree??06 Mar 2004 16:09 GMT2
I've seen the website at www.sweetzfree.com.  Anyone try the stuff?  I'd
like shat you thought about it.

POLL: Ketostrip "colors"06 Mar 2004 13:27 GMT16
My dear wife is beginning to get frustrated because, even though we are
eating the same things, same quantities, her strips turn only a moderate
pink while mine trend toward purple. Can I get a few responses from those
who use ketostrips, on what color you normally were comfortable ...
Getting tired of this stall06 Mar 2004 11:22 GMT24
I've been on this plateau since my initial 2 weeks on induction. I've never
had this happen to me. Other diets and plans were hard to stick with but I
did lose a few pounds (at least) each week. I feel great but I'm getting
very frustrated over this. I'm thinking that for a few days ...
Day two, progesterone, March06 Mar 2004 10:53 GMT12
God, I hate progesterone.  I never quite know how it's going to go - as
far as the WOE this month, it's a good thing - nausea keeps me from
wanting to eat *at all* which definitely keeps me "in line."  This is
opposed to other months when the progesterone makes me ravenous.
newbie06 Mar 2004 10:42 GMT4

but i must say i am hating the scale!  it isn't moving like i want it

Exercise and muscle aches06 Mar 2004 10:11 GMT19
I have a problem.  I think I'm becoming addicted to muscle aches from
exercising.   I had the aches after the first day of weight training at the
Y last week, then they went away when I was doing just weights and yoga,
then they came back after my cardio class last night, and ...
Atkins/Bottled Water06 Mar 2004 08:21 GMT20
I had no idea how EXPENSIVE bottled water is, geeze!
Anyways I bought Deer Park 1/2 Liter bottles of water which also equals 1
pint & 9 ounces per bottle, correct me if I'm wrong but does that equal JUST
OVER 3, 8 ounce glasses of water?  So if I need to drink at least 8, 8 ounce

Good Carbs vs. Bad Carbs: Healthy Bread06 Mar 2004 05:52 GMT15
Calorie counting? Complex carbohydates are a part of any healthy diet.
We have lots of healthy living and eating resources, plus freshly
milled bread mixes made with nutrition rich, ancient grains from
around the world.
Arrowroot?06 Mar 2004 02:01 GMT6
Is it safe to assume that arrowroot is as bad for thickening a sauce, in
the carby sense, as flour or cornstarch?  What do you all use, other
than butter, as sauce thickeners?
