I'm Smoking More!28 Mar 2004 22:30 GMT9
I've been on the Intervention phase (30g carbs/day) of the Protein Power
Lifeplan for 4 weeks and am starting Transition (55g carbs/day) today.  My
carb weaknesses were pasta and chocolate, and I'm pleased that I no longer
crave these things.
Kirstie Alley28 Mar 2004 22:16 GMT23
I saw a story on Fox News about Kirstie Alley they said she weighs 275
pounds. People magazine will have a story and pictures in this weeks
issue. Wouldn't it be horrible to be a celebrity that's gained weight
and have your picture on magazine covers.

Which diet is that?28 Mar 2004 18:15 GMT7
IN the radio there is an ad saying some LC diets require you to stay
under 36 carbs a day, and the strict ones require you to stay under 20
grams. I guess the number 20 comes from Atkin's induction, but were did
they get the "magic" number 36 from?

A teaspoon of garlic powder has 1.7 net carbs! For black pepper it is .3
carbs and mustard has .6 carbs per tablespoon.
How carefully do people count their spice and condiment carbs?

What do you drink?28 Mar 2004 10:11 GMT48
Before LC life I drank juice most of the time. Occasionally I would
drink Slice, Mt Dew...or any other lemon/lime kind of pop. I liked tea

Now, I can't have juice (too much sugar). Diet Pop really should be
