cheater!!03 Mar 2004 22:02 GMT3
Today I cheated huge time!!  I went to a Detroit Red Wing game with my
husband and we couldn't resist having some (4 peoces)of Little Ceasers
Pizza at Jos. Louis Arena.  But it didn't end there, when we were coming
home we made a stop at the Winks store and we each bought a box ...
New to the group03 Mar 2004 22:01 GMT10
Hello all, this is quite an informative group.  Thanks for all the tips,
recipes and general support I have seen here in the week I have been doing
Atkins.  I was a Scarsdale devotee back in the 70's (and remember the
rivalry between Dr. T and Dr. A), and then jumped on the ...
Dinner tonight03 Mar 2004 21:44 GMT21
Tonight I'll be eating at a restaurant in Half Moon Bay. The chef is a
former colleague of mine from Rose Pistola in San Francisco. I'm struggling
with whether to go all out and just eat carbs, or order carefully. Part of
the problem will be Eric possibly sending out food not ...
A question about ingredients in LC proucts03 Mar 2004 21:36 GMT10
Hi to everyone.
Everytime I go to the supermarket and pass in front of the LC section
, I want to buy everything  because the names are so apealing, when I
start to check the carb content and then  the ingredients I trow
OT: Roman gladiators were overweight vegetarians03 Mar 2004 21:23 GMT7

Roman gladiators were overweight vegetarians who lived on barley and beans,
"cheating" or "cellebrating" or whatever you want to call it - it's still cheating!03 Mar 2004 21:06 GMT32
I'm not sure that I understand or agree with the concept of cheating.  Even if
it is a special night out, or big event or something similar.  This just
doesn't make sense.  Even if it is one night, even if it is only once, it is
still cheating.  I went on the low-carb diet ...
Low-carb meal bars03 Mar 2004 20:42 GMT41
Are there any that actually taste good? I'm replacing 2 meals a day with them,
but I'm starting to dread meal time (which might be a good thing for weight
loss, sure, but starvation isn't the way!).
Are there any I should watch out for in terms of 'fuzzy math' in the carb
Something's changed03 Mar 2004 20:26 GMT18
I was shaving this morning and realized there has been a fundamental change
in the way I feel these days. Of course the physical changes are there. The
obvious ones that come with losing 28 pounds. But more than that I have a
feeling of well being that I haven't had in a long time.
struggling still with exercise03 Mar 2004 19:48 GMT11
I am still struggling with exercise. Even just walking. I tryed 15
minutes a day, three days a week, on a exercise bike. I do not know my
limit I guess. I have Fibromyalgia, and I know exercise is supposed to
help. The payoff afterwards, the pain, its excruciating. The pain

New low-carber; worsening hypoglycemia attacks?03 Mar 2004 18:02 GMT3
Greetings folks,
I am not following a specific "diet" - just eliminating foods which I
appear to be highly sensitive to.
I've had low blood sugar issues all my life. I remember having hypo
Flavored Water03 Mar 2004 17:54 GMT19
My husband went grocery shopping and brought home some carbonated flavored
water for me because he thought I might want a change now and again from the
plain water I drink.  (I don't drink any soda/pop.)  I did take a swallow and
it's pretty good and it would be a nice change every ...
Oh what the heck...new goal03 Mar 2004 16:54 GMT1
I was going to hang out on my 185 pounds for a while, but I think I can go
down another 5.  I don't know if I can do it in a month or not.  That may be
a tall order and not doable, but I will give it a try.  I think that will be
enough though or at least I hope so.  Carol Ann, I ...
low glycemic cornstarch03 Mar 2004 15:38 GMT8
Does anyone know what this is and where you can get it?
Thanks,

OT Eliptical cross trainer03 Mar 2004 13:30 GMT10
Just wondering if some of you fitness gurus (Roger, carla?) can help with a
question. Jenny posted awhile back that the ET made her back problem  worse.
I was troubled by this because a trainer at the Y had suggested it for me
because it was so low inpact. I have some spine issues. ...
