| Into 3rd Day | 02 Mar 2004 16:01 GMT | 2 |
And I can't believe how much better I feel. Doesn't seem to matter what kind of carbs - I can eat the best quality whole wheat, oatmeal, brown rice - and I feel like crap. Two days of meat, spinach, and broccoli and I feel like a million bucks again.

| Getting sick of grease | 02 Mar 2004 15:29 GMT | 24 |
Is it just me or is anyone else getting sick of all the grease left over from cooking low carb. It's starting to look disgusting. Can anyone suggest some cooking methods that will still satisfy a decent fat requirement but not have me 409 my kitchen daily?

| Atkins/Salad Veggies | 02 Mar 2004 14:50 GMT | 15 |
I have a quick question. You are allowed 2-3 cups of SALAD VEGGIES per day on induction. As long as I measure with a measuring cup and know that I'm not eating more then 2-3 cups per day of these veggies, is it really necessary that I attempt to

Hi, newbie here-- I have spent most of my life thin, but middle age caught up with me so I finally decided to diet. (It was either that or shop at the fat lady store.) I knew I wanted to do low-carb, and while I was reading Atkins and South Beach,

I'm one of those foolish people who thought they could handle carbs after losing a ton with Atkins. I can't. They set off voices in my head. I need to keep to leafy greens and a few berries. I know that now. I'm repenting. I'm back on the Atkins wagon. This time for good.

| Is "low-Carb" labeling illegal? | 02 Mar 2004 03:33 GMT | 8 |
A recent article in The Arizona Republic stated that labeling anything "low-carb" was not legal. They cited a few terms such as low fat, lite and such as being permissable. I think their authority was the FDA. Does anyone know if this is true?

| SMINTS! | 02 Mar 2004 02:16 GMT | 2 |
I haven't seen a posting regarding Smints lately, so I'll make one for the newbies. If you want a little something sweet, but breath mints, etc., have too many carbs, try SMINTS if you have them in your area. I LOVE Peach and Wild Berry flavored Smints. Each Smint contains 1/5 ...
