low carb website27 Mar 2004 03:18 GMT4
I am looking for a website to purchase many low carb products at one time if
possible, to save shipping costs.  One think I need is that xanthum which
Dana Carpender's book uses so much.  Does anyone have any suggestion?
Thanks, Debra

Stalled - second time around27 Mar 2004 02:25 GMT31
I did Atkins last year and lost 20 lbs fairly fast - in about 3 months.
After slacking off over the winter, I've gone back on it and seem to have
stalled after losing only 7 lbs or so after a month. The only possible cheating
I've been doing is drinking diet soda (which I also did ...

A Bump in then Road27 Mar 2004 02:06 GMT45
Ya know, when I started low-carb again, it was because I felt so horrible
about how I was treating my body.  With diet and exercise, I feel much
better in that regard.
Now, I'm becoming more and more aware of how I actually look (curse those

lover. "Sting and Linger" is my motto.

Hi LCers!
After being less than pleased with some pork rind pancakes, I made some good

of them affect the digestive system like sorbitol does. Are some better to
Average weekly weight loss?26 Mar 2004 22:07 GMT5
With exercise and 1700 cals/day I'm wanting to set a goal of 2.5 lbs / week.
I realize this may be unrealistic.
I'd appreciate it if any successful, long-term losers would chime in with
how their weekly weight loss goal coincided with actual realized loss.

washing vegetables - bad?26 Mar 2004 21:35 GMT32
I usually always rinse my vegetables. Recently I've heard you should
not rinse them at all. The microbes and dirt that is on them is a very
good thing for your intenstinal tract. Anyone heard this?
Do you wash your vegetables? If you do, why? If not, why not?
