| low carb website | 27 Mar 2004 03:18 GMT | 4 |
I am looking for a website to purchase many low carb products at one time if possible, to save shipping costs. One think I need is that xanthum which Dana Carpender's book uses so much. Does anyone have any suggestion? Thanks, Debra

This site http://www.ynhh.org/online/nutrition/advisor/sugar_alcohol.html summarizes the different kinds of sugar alcohols. But it isn't clear if all of them affect the digestive system like sorbitol does. Are some better to

| Average weekly weight loss? | 26 Mar 2004 22:07 GMT | 5 |
With exercise and 1700 cals/day I'm wanting to set a goal of 2.5 lbs / week. I realize this may be unrealistic. I'd appreciate it if any successful, long-term losers would chime in with how their weekly weight loss goal coincided with actual realized loss.

| washing vegetables - bad? | 26 Mar 2004 21:35 GMT | 32 |
I usually always rinse my vegetables. Recently I've heard you should not rinse them at all. The microbes and dirt that is on them is a very good thing for your intenstinal tract. Anyone heard this? Do you wash your vegetables? If you do, why? If not, why not?
