REC:  Sour Cream Rhubarb Sauce30 May 2004 19:35 GMT10
As noted later, this is the lower-carb version of the filling for my mom's
sour cream rhubarb pie recipe.  I've replaced the flour with xanthan gum,
the sugar with Splenda, omitted the strawberries, and added red food
coloring (this stuff isn't nearly as appetizing in its green ...
First "cheat" (treat?) in months30 May 2004 18:34 GMT2
It's a holiday weekend, yesterday marked 43 lbs down, and I've been working
out like crazy. So I had 2.5 pieces of thin crust pizza. 50 carbs I think it
ends up being. Nothing 25 laps in the pool tomorrow won't cure ;-)
Sorry for lack of recent posts, it was either sit on my keister ...

make it in 6 months, Monday will be 6 months to the day! I couldn't have come
as far as I have without his help and support. ...
Which phase am I on?30 May 2004 17:20 GMT11
I have no clue which phase I'm on.  I've been eating the Induction stuff, eggs,
meat, cheese, butter...
...but have also purchased low-carb products, such as Breyer's ice cream,
Atkins bars, and have had low-carb meals at restaurants such as Ruby Tuesday's,

Kool Aid Sugar Free30 May 2004 04:51 GMT9
I am addicted to this stuff like crack.  I have to dilute it to mellow the
violently sweet taste, but otherwise, I love all the varieties.
Now, someone tell me why it's bad . . .

Induction Menu recipes query30 May 2004 01:54 GMT3
I plan to start the Induction Phase and my wife and I are heading for the
grocery store.  (Unfortunately my immediate area does not seem to have a lot
of the products that are readily available in the US).
After going through the book (2002) and following some of the group threads
Bridget M: WHAT A MESS30 May 2004 01:01 GMT112

AHH, THIS CAN'T BE TRUE!!30 May 2004 00:17 GMT21
I just followed a link I believe that came from this newsgroup.

carbs, makes your body think it has carbs, so therefore insulin is released?
It then has similiar effects to have eaten carbs?  Examples would be ...
