Hello all.  I've been lurking a while and have just decided to join the fun.

Protien Power, and Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution.  I'm armed with a
bunch of recipes and ready to go.  I'm not going to a clinic ...

as to why low carb is good.  Is this true?
I want to send my mother a book about low carb (she has the Atkins book
already).  She's had carotid artery surgery to remove plaque, and now

This has never happened to me!  My belly is all swollen up, mostly above

Last night, I had one of these.  It's good and uses a sugar alcohol
Erythritol and inulin.  It doesn't make me immediately go and stay in the
bathroom.
For an occasional treat, I think it's fine (I happen to have a cold, so I
Diabetic Dawn Phenomenon29 May 2004 04:45 GMT6
I keep forgetting to bring this up, but I've discovered a way to (for me,
anyway) achieve lower morning blood sugars.  When I have a bowl of cole
slaw at bedtime, my morning levels are always lower than if I eat something
else at bedtime, or just skip eating at that time.  Not sure ...

I was one of those guys that just couldn't stand to shop for clothes.  I
can't say that anymore.  I was at a factory outlet mall and was at my
favorite store, Woolrich.  I love their stuff.  Anyway, I just love to find
deals and buy nice clothes.  I also love the fact that I fit ...

One of the mini-meals listed is 2 oz sour cream and 2 tbsp red/black caviar.
I don't like caviar :(  According to nutritiondata.com, one tbsp of
caviar has 40 cal, 3g fat, 1g carb, and 4g protein.
