goal / not goal26 May 2004 01:28 GMT2
Well, I had wanted to be at 199 today. I set this goal back in December, and it
looked like I was going to make it for a while there. But <sigh> it was not to
be. The GOOD news is that while I haven't lost for the past two weeks, my TOM
came this morning and I haven't gained a pound ...

Lexin,
I just wanted to give you a holler and a big congrats on your weight loss so
far.  I was just checking some back posts, and I noticed your success.  I
hope that I can do as well as you.
Just Tried the New Doritos Edge...25 May 2004 23:22 GMT8
And all I can say is BLECH!  I was hoping that a company with the big
bucks behind them could produce a decent low card chip, but I guess
that's impossible.  The Doritos tasted just like the other low carb

Well, giving up sushi was *hard*. I love the sashimi, but I so miss the
cones and rolls....
So, tonight my DH and I went to our favorite sushi restaurant for a
sashimi plate. I asked the chef if he could make me a cone using

low cal low carb lunch25 May 2004 22:20 GMT3
Ricotta cheese can be very filling and has remarkably few calories.  3.5
ounces makes me feel very full.  FitDay says it was 150 calories.
Is it just me or what?25 May 2004 21:41 GMT38
I've been doing low carb for 5 months. I've lost 31 pounds, I think. But
I just had my first Black Russian since I started low-carb and I can
barely type. I used to be able to hold my liquor with the best of them.
But wow.... Thank God for spell check or you wouldn't be able to ...

I was in virginia all weekend and cheated a little. ( A little means I had a
couple of tortilla chips with salsa, other that I was pretty good.)  I
really am proud of myself for not pigging out at this thing. You should have
seen all the things people made! Wow!

I usually just drink skim but thought I'd give this Carb Countdown
nonfat "milk" a try. Verdict. Tastes like an even waterier version of
Skim Milk. No unpleasant aftertaste. I would give this a thumbs up in
all areas except cost. I don't think that the nutrition profile is
