feel like i'm trippin'08 Feb 2005 02:05 GMT24
Aha.  Hmm.  This is what happens when you don't eat all day whilst doing
physical labor.  Wooooo . . .  interesting.   Whycome it's so easy to not
eat, to not even be the slightest bit hungry, when I'm using up calories
and actually need food, yet if I sit on my a.s all day I ...
Suggestion for a delicious low-carb snack treat ...08 Feb 2005 01:26 GMT4
I remember when I was a kid and my mother would roll out dough, spread it
with butter, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on it, then roll it  up and bake
it.  She'd then cut the crispy finished product into bite sized pieces for a
real treat.
Workout Music07 Feb 2005 21:25 GMT9
Hey ASDLCers,
We're all working up a sweat for at least a half hour a day, 5 days a
week, right? So, for those of you who listen to music to help put a little
extra spring in your step, what do you listen to? I'm looking to add some
Where can I get pemmican?07 Feb 2005 18:10 GMT62
I'm half-way through the Neaderthin book, and I'm pretty impressed. It's
tempting to take low-carb a step further, but for some of the more unusual
food items ... namely pemmican. I've tried to look for a source but come up
empty handed. Yes, I know there are many recipes out ...

Fast Fish Feast07 Feb 2005 16:00 GMT6
I've been eating a lot more fish these days... and since I work till
about 7 or 8 most nights I needed a quick way to make great fresh fish
(I'm not that fond of the frozen stuff).
So most nights I rev the oven up to 450... and take whatever fillet I've
Denver area/ low carb stores07 Feb 2005 15:30 GMT14
The major supermarkets are carrying an ever-dwindling supply of low carb
products.  I have found many of them useful in supplementing the basics of
the low carb diet as long as I don't over do it.
I'm wondering if anyone who lives in the Denver Metro area knows of any

Dreamfields Pasta07 Feb 2005 14:53 GMT34
Aloha from Hawaii,
Has anyone tried this pasta?  It is so good and says it only has 5
grams of digestible carbs.  I am just really suprised because it tastes
100 times better than any other low carb pasta I have tasted. This will
Do NOT Freeze Shiritaki Noodles/Yam Cakes07 Feb 2005 14:51 GMT51
A while back I posted about making soup with shiritaki noodles.  I had
used them in little cake form.  That was the first time I tried the cake
form and didn't really care for it that way, but the NOODLE form is
GREAT (similar to "glass" noodles).  HOWEVER, I froze some of the ...
OT Painting, 5 trips to Home Depot07 Feb 2005 14:29 GMT10
Haha, whenever I paint, I end up having to go to Home Depot several times
for stuff I either forget, or run out of.  Trip one, Friday night I bought
paint, a roller (my sister stole my old one) roller covers, drop cloths,
masking tape.  Saturday morning, I thought the drop cloth ...
tried to prove low carb no good.07 Feb 2005 11:44 GMT14
Hi all. Embarrassed to admit I went on a low carb diet over a week ago to
prove to my sister she was on the wrong track.
So for a week I've been abusing a low carb diet written by a certain doctor,
doing everything I can to sabotage it.
