Quick Medical Test Question26 Feb 2005 13:48 GMT3
I had a check up yesterday, which went well. When the tech was monitoring
my various measurables, he mentioned that the oxygen level from the little
thing that clips on the end of your finger was 100% which he said was
good.
This group has really tanked26 Feb 2005 03:27 GMT28
I am amazed how the postings to this group have slowed down from a year ago
when low carb dieting was really popular.  Even two or three years ago there
were many more postings per day.  What happened?
shocked myself - weight loss26 Feb 2005 03:01 GMT5
I'm part of a weight loss "club" at the gym (names posted on a board) and I
must have been visited by the whoosh fairy (as we say) since I didn't
believe my weight at the weigh-in today.  I told him it was wrong and had to
come home and double-check.  After a week of not much ...
What's your weight. Bottom line.26 Feb 2005 02:02 GMT23
Probably does not matter much. But there has been much discussion on
"water weight" and so on, especially during the initial period of lowcarb.
But when you bounce 6 or 7 pounds a day, it is beginning to make no sense.

Sorry, I just like provocative subject lines.
But what I mean is that when I started low-carbing, I could eat pretty

soothing sore throat?25 Feb 2005 23:57 GMT9
Cough syrups, cough drops, 'cold cure teas' are all too sweet, or too
burning....
I get dry sore throat that often develops into painful infection. The nurse
practitioner said to keep the saliva flowing, told me if I ran out of cough

What's in the Bowl of soup?25 Feb 2005 18:59 GMT5
I had my favorite Vietnamese bowl of Beef noodle soup. I never get the
noodles. No noodles please.
So I get the slices of beef, tripe and a few slices of onions. Eat a few
raw bean sprouts and the basil that comes with it.

This guy was so heavy he as to have his stomach stapled.  Ok, fine, it
worked for him.  But why is he spending so much time on food shows on TV?
Tonight he's on the Food Network touting "world's most popular desserts".
Excess eating of carbs caused him so many problems it seems he ...
