I'm taking a One-A-Day vitamin supplement which is formulated specifically for Low carb and includes 200mcg of Chromium. Says this is 167% of daily intake needed. Doc A mentioned higher levels of Chromium, perhaps 300 to 800 mcg are

About a week ago I went back to Atkins-induction type carb levels, mainly because my triglycerides were starting to creep back up. I decided this go around to cut back on the dairy more than I have in the past.

I've had, and still suffering, from Pnuemonia. But, I did stick to low carb, even though my mama had a fit that I was not drinking juice... I grabbed a keto stick a few days ago & to my suprise, I tested neg.! I've stuck to low carb and I was a bit shocked.

Ive been reading the Atkins book, and I recall him saying that people with a lot to lose can lose 10% of their weight in the first 2 weeks! One of his 'typical cases' is a 315 lb man who loses 23 lbs in the first 2 weeks!

Maybe you type II people can answer this question. If someone eats a very high (150) carb meal and their glucose is 174 two hours later, what does that mean?
