hello all decisions10 May 2006 04:20 GMT28
There are some really intelligent and nice people here.  I was lurking
for a long time reading only the forum.  I have decided to go back to
reading only the posts.  I do not enjoy some people's nasty comments
and granted maybe I am too sensitive and put myself  wide open for the
Toasting's effect on carbs????10 May 2006 01:22 GMT13
Since the unfortunate demise of Atkins bread and bagels (which

around for other types of LC bread to use for breakfast (with whipped
cream cheese or sausage) or for a sandwich to take to lunch. Pepperidge
Ketosis: how to detect?09 May 2006 19:55 GMT7
This should be a FAQ, but a quick search showed nothing (or too much

I've followed it faithfully (i believe) for 4 full days now.

Instead of "reference jeans" it's "reference garbage bag" (Ladies)09 May 2006 09:28 GMT5
When I color my hair, I use a large lawn and leaf bag as a smock - rip
holes for my head and arms in it and then strip off my clothes and pull
it on. Then I do my hair, then get in the shower and when all the goop
is out of my hair I pull off the garbage bag and shower as usual.  It

Lunch Interview with Jared Fogel (Subway Dieter)08 May 2006 20:19 GMT2
No, it wasn't me who had the lunch interview with Jared (Subway) Fogel.
It was Morgan Spurlock of "Supersize Me" and "Don't Eat this Book: Fast
Food & the Supersizing of America." The book is OK, what I read of it.
Jared Fogel is the guy who went from 425 lbs to 192 lbs in a ...
Elimination/detox diet help!08 May 2006 12:29 GMT1
I'm being tested for allergies and other gastrointestinal issues and will be

there is a husband and young child in the family? I work fulltime and don't
want to make two meals every night but this diet is ...

before summer.

Meatloaf Recipe08 May 2006 01:53 GMT6
I finally got around to low-carbing my meatloaf recipe.  It's one of my SO's
favorite things so I am a bad girl for taking so long.  The secret flavoring
is a package of Knorr's Tomato Beef Soup (used to be called Oxtail, they
just renamed it).   It adds a few carbs but they are ...

Atkins but for the life of me I couldnt' stay on it long enough to lose
anything.  Damned ketosis!  At least I blamed that for a long time.
Anyway, I finally found a low carb diet that works for me.  Like I

I tried to access the wealth of links to research at
www.lowcarbresearch.org and I was asked for a password.  Does anyone
