Washington D.C. on Amtrak's Northeast Regional.  My sister and nephew
traveled on Amtrak from Springfield, MA and met me in D.C.  From there
we took the Capitol Ltd. from D.C. to Chicago coach class.  In Chicago

Are there any lc crackers that are ok to eat with cheese and meat
spread?  Someone told me WASA crackers, but they seem a little high in

Is anyone here following the Four Corners diet, previously known as the
GO-diet? I prefer it to the any of the other low-carb eating plans I have
tried, including Atkins, South Beach,  Protein Power & The Carbohydrate

Has anyone tried Dr. Bernstein's lc program?  I just borrowed a copy
from our local library.  My wife doesn't like it because it essentially
bans all fruits and grains (besides 100% bran).  My main question is
whether it works as well or better than the other popular lc programs. ...

Was wondering something: on my Tanita scale, it is said that a very
muscled person should not use it to monitor accurately its body fat.
I Guess that it makes the BMI falsely too high or too low.
But in wich way?

Can we please ignore the trolls.  Kill file them, block sender or some other
such thing.  This is supposed to be a support group for people who know they
can't lose weight any other way but by an Atkins type diet.

I am 190lbs, need to loose weight.  Starting to get bad headaches and dizzy
quite often, having problems with high blood pressure.  Can't spend quality
time with hubby or daughter.  I have been trying to go on this LC diet for
some time but are struggling.  Needs lots of support. ...

thanks to everyone who took time to post and explain the weirdness I
was reading here.  What I did discover is that there are some
supportive and knowledgable people here.  So thanks, and I will do my
part to ignore the trolls and freaks, and maybe, just maybe, they will

While surfing on the web, I read about phaseolamine.
This bean extract is supposed to block the effect of an enzyme that
digests starch.
