I have a confession. I am a terribly disorganized person with ADD. This
makes it hard for me to find stuff and hard for me to remember to do
things. In turn, the side effectsof my problems are that its pretty
hard to make changes and really metabolize them, lifestyle wise.

After 8 years of LC my latest cholesterol is at 233, and my doc wants me on
Lipitor.  My baseline has always been 200-220, but I was younger then.
Anyones else having issues like this after doing LC for a long time?

I no longer have a book as I did atkins a few years ago.  I want to do it
again and looked at the website for info and did not see the explanation for
this, but....  during induction, what is the reasoning behind not having
things like low carb breakfast bars and other similar ...

THis never made any sense to me so I think you can figure it out for
me.  Let's take white rice, this is a big staple of asians, indians,
phillipians, you get the point.  In fact I heard that 1/3 of the world
eats rice as its staple.  So why are they thin?????

I phoned the local (multinational dairy corporation) and they said what
a novel idea, they would speak to their marketing dept?!?!
This company makes a low-lactose milk, but its not low carb.
