Festschrift for Bob Pastorio08 Apr 2007 12:20 GMT10
I don't much hold with the idea of mourning the dead. Those who were
no good, and we can all fill in the names, we're only too glad to see
the back of. Those who enriched us with their visit have left behind
so much more than they've taken away.
Junk Food Update07 Apr 2007 19:00 GMT3
I put my dinner menu on the site. Although setting up for it the first time
is a little much, its still a "single guy who don't wanna make a big deal in
the kitchen" type of thing. My bgs do pretty well on it - not to say it'll
work for everybody but its simple, very tasty I can eat ...
High-Tech Workout Clothing Question07 Apr 2007 16:54 GMT8
I've been pretty good about working out regularly for the last year. I
thought I would treat myself to some of the latest in high-tech
workout clothing. I'm sure everyone is familiar with this stuff --
they're generally made from polyester and have a special design that
Just How Low Carb are Black Soy Beans ? Doubters Have Spoken???07 Apr 2007 15:38 GMT26
In searching for nutritional information on black soy beans, I

The basis of their claim is that the USDA is alleged to allow reporting

Junk Food Update04 Apr 2007 00:05 GMT10
I found the Wonder Lite White Bread at Walmart. I bought it. Just got home
and tried a slice. It has the good ole white bread look and texture but
still has a hint of fake...haha. All in all, pretty good though. Advertises
9g of carbs. Actually has 18 with various subtractions ...
60 Minutes Report on Hoodia03 Apr 2007 20:37 GMT4
(CBS) Each year, people spend more than $40 billion on products
designed to help them slim down. None of them seem to be working very
well.
Now along comes hoodia. Never heard of it? Soon it'll be tripping off
LC Cereal03 Apr 2007 19:26 GMT21
Well folks I'm down to my last 3 boxes of the wonderful Atkins morning
start Blueberry. They are already 3 years out of date, but I've been
hoarding and doling them out as long as possible. I found a really good one
in Trader Joes high fiber bran, but they've been out of stock ...

Large amounts of protein -- a pound of chicken, fish, beef, or pork or 2.5
pounds of nuts per day -- prompt your body to excrete bone-building calcium
Ideal way to construct your meals03 Apr 2007 16:55 GMT1
Our bodies respond hormonally to what we eat based on 2.5 millions
years of evolutionary programing, without this type of mechanism we
might not have survived the ice age.

I broke the cheap scale03 Apr 2007 04:21 GMT15
And I did it just by stepping on it.  No, I'm not over its range.  I stepped
on the display and cracked it.  Now it doesn't display numbers at all; just
some initialization symbols.  Oh, well.  DH didn't like it either, after
all.  I'll wait and get one that we really like.  In ...
