Having used up the last of my Atkins baking mix, I just started using
Carbquik.  So far, I'm impressed.  It's a great product.  But I'm
wondering if the carb count is really correct.  It's listed as 16g
carb, 14g fiber, 2g net for 1/3 cup.   Which seems extremely low

and consequently can affect mood.

I recently picked up the Eades' "Low-Carb Comfort Food Cookbook" from the
library and was sort of surprised to see that they mentioned that soybeans
were the only low-carb bean out there.  I'm a complete low-carb newbie, but
I had read that beans have a high fiber content, and ...

Got up feeling weak and sickly.  Made my way to kitchen and took bs
and it was 92.   Then took blood pressure and it was normal but the
pulse rate was 42.  Readjusted cuff and took it again and it was 43.
Took pulse manually and CRIPES, it was 42 and seemed to take forever
So my family found out I was vegan and rather then going to a     restuarant that I could eat at they all decided.?!20 Dec 2008 22:23 GMT1

My LDL Cholesterol is 430 and I'm 61 years old. My doctor is mailing me meds
for it. She said to lower my carobs. She didn't say anything about weight,
celeries, fats, etc. So I really don't want to die and I'm a good candate
for a heart attack or a stroke. I got the info tonight ...
