NYNY maintaining away31 Oct 2003 10:44 GMT20
Stayed the same on my average weight this week, that was a first.  I am
quite pleased with it.  I think I may have goofed last week with my numbers
since I changed my goals around to use my averages.  Anyway, just use the
160.3 and we will go from there.  I am trying to give Fred a ...

this as help me,31 Oct 2003 05:26 GMT1
There's no such thing as fast weight loss. The human body is far too
concerned about survival to allow us to lose weight too quickly. So as
soon as we reduce our calorie intake, it starts to slow down in order
to conserve energy.
Flexpoints question31 Oct 2003 05:21 GMT3
Hi again!
Haven't been able to post for a while because of limited net access.
I've had 4 weigh ins so far and I lost roughly 3 pounds on the first
two and then I ran into my usual problem of not being able to break
HHH and NYNY - Yay me!31 Oct 2003 05:19 GMT16
This week was really great.  I got into a promotion-based training program
at work, I exercised 5 times, and I had a great WHOOSH of 3.6 down to
180.6!!  YAY ME!!
Needless to say, I was a bit excited and continue to be motivated by this
Hi! I am back.31 Oct 2003 03:21 GMT11
Hi guys and gals!! I am back after being gone almost 3 months. I had
stopped going to Weight Watchers because finances have been really
tight. We were trying to refinancing the house and having to pay off a
transmission bill.
Detoxing.. good idea??30 Oct 2003 23:13 GMT1
Can anybody point me to a medical article to the background of 'Detoxing'.
Is it smart to do? do we need it??
I once did something with maple sirup and lemons, but I'm starting to think
its nonsense..
Watch out for that MOLE!30 Oct 2003 13:54 GMT5
(That's "mo-lay" sauce, not the furry underground critter!)
My husband cooked what he thought would be a healthy dinner; sweet
potato enchiladas with mole sauce. Well, it's NOT HEALTHY! I figured
out the points AFTER I ate (you would think I would know better by

Since the weather was so beautiful here last week I did my regular errands
on foot rather than in my car.  Every little bit helps!
There'll be one day this week that I definitely get in my exercise.  Trick

NYNY- Erin -down again30 Oct 2003 00:27 GMT26
I'm down half a kilo this week, 1.1 pounds. I was pretty pleased with
that, given that I had a couple of bad days this week. I was kind of
expecting to maintain so it was nice to see a lower number. If I can
keep this up, I'll meet my goal for sure :-)
Can anyone offer advice?29 Oct 2003 16:14 GMT9
I've been drinking PLENTY of water, eating the same, but working out a LOT
more (from almost never to full-blown lifting 4 times a week). Why is it
that I am gaining...lots?? Today I'm up about 6 from my lowest, 4 from my
last WI (last Wednesday). Do you know why this might be ...
Pumpkin soup recipe29 Oct 2003 15:18 GMT4
My DD#2 (Miss Fussy Rose) asked for Squished Squash soup, and I asked her if
Jack O'Lantern soup would be ok instead. (yes, all the soups I make have fun
names) I found a recipe on www.foodnetwork.com that worked out to 3 points
per serving. Well, I forgot to put in the half & half, ...
NYNY and general update29 Oct 2003 14:09 GMT7
Well, all is right with the world.  The Yankees and Jets bit the dust, the
Patriots won and I lost again.  It doesn't get any better than this!
My nubers for last week were incorrect (operator error :-)  )
My actual for last week was 184.8
