Lost 3 & made my mini goal!31 Jan 2005 19:47 GMT16
It took 2 weeks, but I finally made my last mini goal (to get over 20
pounds off). New mini goals (1) to lose .3 & get into a new decade (2)
to lose 3.2 & reach 25 off. Should make the first one if all goes well.

should not have done a mid-week weigh-in....31 Jan 2005 17:10 GMT11
Hmmm....
Today is Wednesday, so I took a peak. I bounced up to 118.5 kg again,
which is the same thing I started at on Friday. This is my 2nd week of Core.
I know there are daily fluctuations and my weight could very well be
WI January 25 +1.1 lb. :-(31 Jan 2005 16:51 GMT11
I gained 1.1 lb. this week. I think the main reason for the gain was
the party we had in church last Saturday to honour all volunteers. I
ate quite a bit of yummy food (no LF or FF food in sight) and drank  4
glasses of wine. Enjoyed the evening very much, but it's killing for

Well, I gained 1/2 lb. Not bad considering the wedding.  Back to the
grindstone this week though
All the best to everyone this week

lost 4lb in 3 days31 Jan 2005 16:16 GMT23
OKay it may seem too much but I think I am just losing mostly water
(remember I put on 7lb in one week, probably water).  But its better than
nowt.
My biggest downfall in life is butter.  I love it.  But I cannot cut down to
Portions and recipes31 Jan 2005 15:52 GMT23
Somebody posted a recipe for "1 point chili" today and in the
instructions it said "serves 20". I had to laugh. For me, that would
have been "20 point chili". :)
I am single and cook for myself. I've never been able to make recipes
Yes, we have no bananas...31 Jan 2005 15:30 GMT20
I was pleased to see that bananas were on the Core foods list, so
indulged a bit (I love bananas!). From my testing I've pretty much
concluded that bananas are a "trigger" food. That is, after eating one I
get hunger cravings and want to eat more.
is this ng for weightwatchers?31 Jan 2005 14:42 GMT8
Having posted in here and lurked a few times I have had some useful advice
from people here.  But I really do not want to join weightwatchers for the
time being.  OKay if I hang around here for a while?
2nd weigh in31 Jan 2005 14:40 GMT10
Lost another 3 pounds this week :) YAY! I was convinced I'd not lost as I
felt bloated all week, so it was a lovely surprise.
I'm sticking with full choice as it really suits me and if it ain't broke
don't fix it as they say!
WI: Jan 2231 Jan 2005 14:35 GMT12
Been a busy week with a big lunch on Thursday and a
co-worker who brought in a White Chocolate Raspberry
Truffle cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory to
celebrate our new office.
FWW Week 331 Jan 2005 14:32 GMT9
Well, last week was a little slower, but we still squeezed out a 1
pound loss between the three of us. My wife was out of town on
business, so that was a +1 pound for her, as my daughter and I lost 1
pound each...
Rounding WW points31 Jan 2005 13:45 GMT6
I'm about to delve into the WW program, and I'm prepping all the tools I
might need.  Instead of subscribing to eTools to calculate the points, I
found the equation and created an Excel spreadsheet.
My question is:  If a food comes out to 3.8, should I round to four?
Very different lunch31 Jan 2005 13:40 GMT6
I just made a very different lunch. All core and yummy.
I had some frozen salmon (4.5oz piece). I precooked it in the microwave
until almost cooked. I made up a small batch of couscous (1/4c dry). While
the couscous was "cooking" I put 2 teaspoons of canola oil, 1/4c
Unofficial but not going for the WW one31 Jan 2005 06:17 GMT11
I am pleased to be at 161 unofficially here. This is most likely a slight gain from last week, but still nicely, safely, comfortably under goal :)
