Cardio Shmardio!31 Jan 2006 18:03 GMT8
I pretty much hate cardio.  It's definitely a chore for me.  I look at
those people that thrive on cardio...those people that *have* to have
their daily 3 mile run or their day is ruined and I can't help but
wonder how in the world anybody gets to that point.  I've heard

I am too busy to find the "real" posts in the mess. I will continue to check in though so that I can participate more when the eff ups go back into whatever hole they crawled out of.

up 1.2 so not bad considering travel.  I will try core this week while
traveling, it will be a learning experience as I have never traveled while
doing core before.  I have the same mini goals but the weights of course
have changed.  best of luck to all of you this week, I regret I ...
Boy, I got lucky this week30 Jan 2006 18:32 GMT5
I don't think I got a chance to mention the interesting scale event from
last week.  I went in to my doctor on Wednesday, and since I was finally
under 350lbs (barely), I was excited because I'd finally fit on their
scale.  Only I got on it, set the thing to 249, and it was still ...

There's a difficult situation at work that has stressed me to no end the
last week and half.. and today was the end (where I am concerned) of the
whole thing.
Met the last person I had to talk to to clarify things and it went well..

Yesterday was my best day yet29 Jan 2006 15:13 GMT3
I took an hour walk with my dog, went and lifted weights (upper body) and
added 2 more lifts to my routine, I ate great all day, kept my snack to
healthy stuff and ate only 1 pts over my target (I got plenty of WPA left)
:o) Today is the last day of my "week" and all in all it went ...

I Want to Start...really29 Jan 2006 14:53 GMT11
I got the talk from my wife today.  She wants to see me lose some
weight.  Wants to see me healthier, thinner, with more energy.  Wants
to be more physically attracted to me.  Wants me to have more
self-confidence.  She was gentle about it.  I didn't walk away from the

Hello--
I'm new here, and this seems like a very lively and active group.  I'm
happy to be a part of it.  In any case, I come to this group with a
question: I just lost my first 10% and I'm about 13lbs away from my
Newbie questions26 Jan 2006 20:23 GMT14
I've gained a few (50-ish) pounds over the past two years and I've decided
to take control of my life and lose those pounds.  I see this NG has a lot
of WW people on it who post about small weight successes weekly, while I
believe I can tough it out on my own and meet my goal in ...
Just Had a Baby26 Jan 2006 20:20 GMT3
I used to frequent this newsgroup until I got pregnant last year.  I've had
my baby and have been losing weight but I need to get on track because I
know i'm going to stop losing.  I gained 25 lbs while pregnant until the
last couple of weeks and I had severe hypertension so I ...
1 point milk servings?26 Jan 2006 20:08 GMT5
I usually get my milk servings by drinking skim milk.  I like it but it
uses 2 points.  I wonder if there are any 1 point milk servings out
there.
Any suggestions are welcome.
