I weighed yesterday and was pleasantly surprised considering the time of year. I think I am back in my zone. I was really having a hard time of it for months on maintenance, but it seems to have finally passed!

and extra holiday foods and beverages but by journalling, I know how to
control my portions and balance what I eat all day.  Some days are

Another week, another loss.  It's all good. 4 lbs till 10%.  I'm back into
the pants size I was last winter, only 2 more to go until I get where I want
to be.  I love this plan.  I can have pig out days like last Wednesday (15
flex points in one day) then still eat my activity ...

Doug, have you tried the "Kanten" plan05 Jan 2006 08:23 GMT5
Today's WSJ ran an article about the Japanese fad diet using gelatin
made from ground up seaweed to trick the body into thinking it's full.
Dieters are choosing all sorts of products such as powdered kanten to
noodles made from it.  I'm familiar with it as agar-agar.

This would go back to the old cookbooks that had Jean Nidetch on the
cover.  I mean, I was still in college (ahem)  There were a couple of
recipes I'd love to have again, one was a version of pressed chicken
that EVERYBODY loved when I fixed it, even the non-wwer crowd.  THat's

WI Week 704 Jan 2006 15:00 GMT12
I lost again.  I'm happy.  It was a bigger loss than normal.  I attribute it
to eating all of my activity points and bumping up the activity just a
smidge - I finally went back to doing yoga because my shoulder can handle it
again.

Got my December free weigh in out of the way. Yay. Now to hold on through December and January will be easy with all the new support around here ;). I was up one from last month, but delighted with that considering all the turkey fixings
