Lifetime20 Oct 2006 11:34 GMT14
Well, I made lifetime today.  But it was somewhat anti-climatic.
Two weekends ago I visited family in Spokane.  I heard they were
diabetic so it should've been easy to stick to plan while eating their
food.  So yeah, they were pretty much sugar free, but what they weren't

Last year I lost 5lbs my first week, but I was doing teh flex plan and had
headaches and always hungry, this time around, I'm not always hungry, I'm
eating healthier and working out much more...slowly but surely.

I just had lunch with my kids and DH at a Vietnamese Restaurant today
(Pho Hoa chain). I have NO idea how many points my lunch is! I ordered
the healthiest looking thing on the menu: grilled chicken, vermicelli
(sp?), and lots of raw veggies (sprouts, cucumber, lettuce, cilantro) ...
my tasty new discovery..19 Oct 2006 19:05 GMT4
I was at Costco yesterday and saw some marinated artichoke hearts and
started drooling. I had a look at the nutritional information and what
do you know....only 1 point for 2 artichoke hearts! I was surprised as
there is oil in the marinade. I cooked 2 up this morning with ...

week 2 weigh-in19 Oct 2006 07:07 GMT7
-0.2 pounds so according to WW down 4.2 pounds in 2 weeks (although like
I've said before I started the diet prior to joining WW and I think I've
lost nearly 10). I was a bit disappointed as I did 4 nights at the gym
this week with lots of cardio and some weights as well as 2 ...
You guys are awesome!19 Oct 2006 06:56 GMT16
I've been catching up reading posts... and though I don't have time to
respond to everything, I wanted to point something out.
This group is a heck of a great place to be. I'm reading "reports" from
pretty much everybody, and I am soooo impressed by everybody's success, not

My word for next week is "focus," as in "must stay focused."  For some
reason, I just forgot about recording my food and points in my QuikTrak
booklet.  I was eating what I usually eat but I didn't measure portions.
Therefore, I was up by 0.4 lbs.  Not a devastating gain, but.. ...

Yippidee! Lost 1.0 pound this week, and I was weighed in AFTER dinner, with
my bladder full and my breast full of milk (although my son is almost weaned
now, I get these milky bursts once in a while... and one right before
hitting the scale!)
Feeling strong and in control18 Oct 2006 13:54 GMT2
DH's work schedule is sane again, and mine is pretty much gone... so it
seems that FINALLY there's sanity in my house. I have time to plan, to cook,
to work out (when I'm not hurt) and I'm enjoying "doing my thing"... rather
than "I have to do this and it sucks"
