How do you get willpower to kick in.09 Oct 2006 17:51 GMT13
I seem to have no control on my snacking. I fight the urge to snack, bu

I returned to meetings last week.  I lost 3.4 lbs.  I feel very confident
that the weight will continue to come off.

Tale of the scale. - wk208 Oct 2006 22:01 GMT7
I showed a loss this week of 1.8 lbs., not as much as last weeks, but,
hey that's good, cause last weeks was enormous and I could see me
getting sick losing that much each week.
Got my activity point thingy, weather is brisk at nights, sounds like a

Weigh in at week 2 : lost 3.2 lbs!
I am almost not breastfeeding anymore (only at night and ofr the first meal
of the morning), so I should expect to see my rate of losing slow down in
the future, but for now I'm taking all that I get!

How many exercise points...07 Oct 2006 23:44 GMT7
...do I earn for shifting 50 boxes of fabric out of their hidey-hole
in the loft, down the ladder, down the stairs, and into the
conservatory, and then sorting through it all, box it up logically,
labelling the boxes clearly, and then carting it all back UP again?

Will they give you an activity point thingie the first week you join if you

Debbie<---willing to pay $11 for it but not $33 (three weeks of meetings).
Update on me06 Oct 2006 23:21 GMT22
Not that anyone probably even noticed I was gone :-), I've been really
struggling with bad depression and have been WW AWOL. I've managed to limit
the damage to about 5 pounds but not strong enough right now to be on plan.
Hopefully I can get eveything together and get back to ...
Goal to Lifetime (Week 4 of 6)06 Oct 2006 13:55 GMT8
Well, for those of you keeping up with the drama of "Birthday Failure"
I'm happy to announce that my total weight gain for the week was only
0.2 pounds.  I worked my rear off the last three days with cardio and
program getting it back down to that.  So I'm viewing this week as a
feeling a little depressed06 Oct 2006 02:24 GMT14
I have been OP for 12 weeks and am down 16lbs, even.  I *know* that's
good rate of loss, and I feel better,  but I'm still feeling a bit
depressed and overwhelmed because I have far to do.  What do you do to
help yourself stay motivated?
It's a bit harder06 Oct 2006 00:22 GMT21
It's a bit harder this week. My nanny called in sick on Friday, so I called
Dad in to take care of the kids, because I have landed a huge contract and I
really couldn't not work on that day. We had fish at lunch, but in the
evening I really was exhausted and Dad is not one to really ...
curbing afternoon hunger05 Oct 2006 20:40 GMT18
OK...!  I *really* need some help from you all.  I'm doing WW (just started
a while ago) and am having some problems with REALLY intense hunger in the
afternoon.  I'm fine all morning, I'm fine for a while after lunch, and I'm
fine after dinner (I *never* eat after dinner).  But ...
Back again!05 Oct 2006 14:59 GMT8
Well, here I am, back to give it another try.  Have been OP since Monday and
have even begun taking yoga classes.  First one was last night and I really
enjoyed it.  Did all my local errands yesterday on foot and left the car in
the parking lot.
