Well, I was 248 pounds when I started walking a mile a day on the treadmill
at the local gym.
Today was my 5th day...
Walked 1.25 miles today at 3.5 miles and hour. Progress is progress... :)

I am addicted to DrPepper.
A 44 ounce a day....
So my body won't think it is being deprived of a life sustaining substance,
how should I quit?

Hooray.  I dropped below 230# to  229#.  The 220's feel nice.
At 240# I set my goals.
225 is the 1st one.
212 is the 2nd one

got too cocky about losing that much in 2 weeks, gained 2.6 but that's fine,
this week we got stuck in St. Louis overnight and I had no food so not only
was there much travel there was only salty processed food even if I was in
points... but we ended up having a good time and I will ...

I am a 31 y-o woman in the middle of the USA.
Did a search for diet and weight loss groups and found this one.
Besides diet, what kind of exercise program do you follow, if any ?
I have started a mile a day on the treadmill.

I'm just not losing weight.  I have been staying within my points
everyday.  My weight varies from 131 to 135.  I think as soon as I get
to 131 or 132 that soon I'll be in the 120's.  But noooooooo. I gain
the next day.
