This is a part rant, part just being fashionably challenged. I went shopping over the weekend and bought 2 pairs of pants. In the store they were a tad bit tight in the thighs, but I bought them anyway. Well, I wore one pair today, and although tight to begin with they are made ...

It's that time of year again when I have an abundance of venison. I will be cooking it 1 or 2 times a week throughout the winter and until this year have not worried about the nutritional value of it. It takes a particular mindset to prepare and eat venison(please, no animal rights

The place I stayed at had a fitness room with treadmills so I finally used one for the first time since I started running. It had some sort of "level" that determined the speed and I was wondering on most treadmills if this was MPH or some other type of measurement or if it varies ...

I am looking for a book discussing meat cuts, what to cook with them, some basic principles etc. Not so much a recipe book, but rather a meat cooking principles book, although recipes would be nice also. i

| Re-thinking goals? | 07 Nov 2003 19:59 GMT | 5 |
Today I had my bf% measured, 24%, lower than I had anticipated for sure... I was estimating 30% or more. Doing the math, my lean weight is approximately 219 lbs. I've been lifting, so I don't expect my lean mass to drop too horribly much.

| Climbing Rocks! | 07 Nov 2003 16:21 GMT | 7 |
Well, I had my first indoor wall-climbing session tonight. It was hella fun. The largest part of the class was the safety equipment. To be able to belay safely, the harness, ropes, etc. have to be in their place perfectly, and we all MUST know how to do it. One person climbs while ...
