I've been trying to stay under 2,000 calories a day and I've been
walking 2 miles almost every night for the last 4 weeks or so. Do you
know where that got me? 5 pounds lost. That's it. I passed up pieces
of my sister's birthday cake, I passed up handfuls of candy I normally

The result is 7 minutes and 52 seconds. My pulse right at the end was

Body for Life Challenge Week 1117 Nov 2003 03:01 GMT1
With one week to go I'm back down to 189 (I started 11 weeks ago at
195.)  It's a see-saw these days, sometimes I'm up, someetimes I'm
down.  My measurements are slowly crawling down, though, so I know that
the slow fat loss is real.

Well, I thought I would have to lose even more weight to fit into this size.
However, I am able to (barely) squeeze into size 16 jeans now.  I bought 3
different brands, and I can put all of them on.... so I know it isn't
because just one brand is cut bigger.  The 18's are a little ...
