Need Sugar Free Jello recipes16 Nov 2003 01:56 GMT11
I've been trying the Wal-Mart Sugar Free Jell-O knock-off
stuff & really like it. The package says that it is 5 calories per serving,
and 4 servings per package. So I eat them all, it's only 20 calories:-)
I use 1 cup of water, not the two they recommend.
up 13 lbs...15 Nov 2003 22:58 GMT8
from my summer low of 119.  All is not lost, however.  This gain was
intentional since I've started a pretty intense (for me) weight lifting
routine and wanted to gain as much muscle as possible.  I had lost quite a
bit of muscle during most recent weight loss.
Starting Over15 Nov 2003 21:31 GMT17
Well my weight shot right back up to 215 after 2 weeks of eating a lot of
fast food.  I was almost at 200, but I went right back to my bad habits.
I'm starting over again for the last time, I start the gym in a couple of
days and I'm cutting out the fast food.

The evils of alcohol?15 Nov 2003 06:36 GMT27
Just wondering what you guys thought.
I have read about the evils of alcohol, that it is really fattening.  A shot
of whisky has the same amount of calories as an egg etc etc.
So that's the theory - but I don't really find that it has any effect on me
Boy am I sore today15 Nov 2003 02:04 GMT5
I started back at the gym on Tuesday and did half the weights etc. that I
did before the accident and today I am sore. I am going to give it a rest
today and hope that the soreness goes away tomorrow. The treadmill was no
easier either, but I do know it will get better. Too all ...
soy flour - Gag me with a ginzu!!14 Nov 2003 21:11 GMT17
Ok, I found the soy flour in the bulk section of our grocery store.  I
substituted ALL of the flour in my brownies with the soy.  It was
disgusting.  It was NOT edible.  Threw out the entire batch.
I need reccommendations on using soy!
soy flour?14 Nov 2003 19:55 GMT15
Can you buy soy flour retail?  I haven't been able to find it.  I'd like to
start substituting some of the regular flour with soy in my recipes...

Drinking Water14 Nov 2003 19:17 GMT20
I notice a lot of you drink lots of water.
Do you do this as a way to control your appetite, or is there a 'fat
burning' benefit if you see what I mean ?
I have no problem in restricting my diet, and don't drink a lot really,
Something strange happened last night.14 Nov 2003 18:00 GMT6
My Daughters school had a fundraising auction.  It was a lot of fun, w/ a lot
of people, and a LOT of food!  Free baked goods and appetizers and donated
baked goods from local bakeries for sale and raffle.
Before I started eating healthy, I would sneak up to the food table quite a ...
A thought on chocolate cravings14 Nov 2003 17:07 GMT24
crafting mom mentioned that she sometimes has chocolate
cravings. There is "baking cocoa" for sale at Sam's club, which is
basically just ground cocoa. Because there are no cheap components
added (dry milk and sugar) it is kind of pricey, about 8 dollars per
I'm new! And I have a question.14 Nov 2003 16:04 GMT23
I figure I might as well stop lurking and start existing... =)
Here is my (semi-anonymous) introduction: I'm 22, female, still in
school, with no health problems except my weight! I figure 5'5" and
180 pounds is way too much.
Too Much Exercise for Calorie Intake14 Nov 2003 15:49 GMT7
I currently eat betwen 1700 and 2000 calories a day. I am 24, male, 250lb. I
walk for between 2 and 3 hours every day, without fail. I've been on the
diet for 18 months, but its only recently (last 2 months) that I started to
do so much walking whereas previously I was just doing 1 ...
