update - broke 28:0008 Feb 2004 18:34 GMT27
I haven't done any running since Sunday because I needed some recovery time.
On Monday I cut back my food intake to approx 1500 cal/day to counteract the
water gain. Today was parent/teacher conferences so I didn't get out of work
until 6PM.  It was a crappy day and I'm in the midst ...

Hello ...
I'm going to start with a short post and then perhaps follow up.
I am feeling quite down right now.  I lost a lot of weight and have
started to gain it back.

Hello ...
I know that Curves has been discussed here before, but I wondered if
anyone who is currently going to Curves might be willing to share any
thoughts or experiences.
Fancy dinner for two07 Feb 2004 22:28 GMT36
I am trying to plan ahead here.  I would like to prepare a nice dinner
for two for Valentine's Day.  Any suggestions?  I think that DH would be
opened to something like London broil (especially if we are able to
grill outside) or salmon but I'd love to hear your suggestions :-)

Help! 800cal/day = good diet or ED? "Eat less, do more" not working?
VLCD trap?
I am about to go insane. After two years of deep dedication and going
it alone with VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) calorie restriction, I need
Baby Was Born, Time to Crack Down!07 Feb 2004 18:02 GMT9
On Jan. 14th Felicity was born at 7:51 a.m.  She is healthy and happy.
I have less than 6 weeks to recover from being pregnant and having a
c-section and then it's work time.  I must crack down hard on myself
and lose all this extra weight.  I am officially 161 lbs. overweight

Promoting healthy lifestyles will cut care costs
DAVID CRANE
As concerns over the cost and affordability of health care grow,
long-overdue attention is at last being paid to the determinants of
calories in brand name foods07 Feb 2004 15:58 GMT5
A lot of brand name foods don't have the nutritional value indicated,
does anyone know a good place on the net to find these things out?
Right now I'm looking for Orville Reddenbacher popcorn, but theres
always something.
Happy results in the bicep tricep area07 Feb 2004 04:48 GMT11
I haven't posted a thread in at least a week so I thought I'd post one
now.  I've been using some Reebok resistance bands for some bicep and tricep
work and have noticed a nice curvature on the front and back of the arm and
am amazed at what these big rubberband can actually do.  ...
Introduction07 Feb 2004 01:25 GMT11
Been reading for over a month now, and it has brought me motivation,
but I decided finally that I need to be a part of it to REALLY reach
my goal.  I'm 27, healthy, 5'9, 194 pounds male with a large build.  I
was 239 roughly 8 or so months ago, and lost all the weight just by

Another 2 or 3 pounds gone06 Feb 2004 16:55 GMT17
Just wanted to report that I've lost another 2 to 3 pounds since I last
reported.  I think I just got through my second plateau since I started
losing weight.  About two weeks back I had gotten down to 225 and until now
I had fluctuated between 225 and 227.  Today after a walk and ...

New clothes06 Feb 2004 12:48 GMT13
I've lost eight inches off my waist since August 27th, 2003 and expect to
lose another four to six inches or more by the time I reach my goal.  Anyway
I had been use to buying clothes at a local Big and Tall store near my house
and they really have some nice clothes that I liked.  ...
Coming out of the closet06 Feb 2004 07:18 GMT71
Well, I haven't posted my numbers here for a good while.  The main
reason for this is that I've been yo-yoing to such an extent that it

weighing myself and keeping track of my weight.
