Mostly rant -  my knee problems13 Mar 2004 14:26 GMT8
I've been suffering more than usual from knee pain, so I finally went to the
doctor who ordered a MRI of my right knee.  In the meantime, I went to my
trainer Ahmed for two massages and, genius that he is, he eliminated about
90% of my pain after working on my IT band.  I was on ...
weekly weigh in (12 Mar 04)13 Mar 2004 14:18 GMT7
I lost a pound this week.  I was amazed, as this has been another
not-good diet week.  Combination of ill child and pressure of work
meant I didn't get much chance to exercise this week, and i've still
been struggling with those comfort eating demons.  But at least I have

to 207 as of today for a weight loss of 93 pounds since August 27,2003.
I've been going to Bally's Total Fitness lately since I got to renew my
membership for $99 for the year, and have been walking four ...
Coenzyme Q1013 Mar 2004 13:21 GMT1
I have a practical question.
Does coenzyme Q10 help incurable cancer patients, at least to feel
better? Or is it all bullshit? My MIL recurrent endometrial carcinoma
and docs have given up on her as far as curative treatment goes. It
Annoyed 13 Mar 2004 06:15 GMT8
I am feeling a bit annoyed today.  There is a programme currently airing in
the UK called 'Fit Farm'.  The heaviest participants ( 420 pound 35yr male
and woman 325 pounds) have lost 14 pounds and 7 pound respectively.  Why I
this OK when health experts (1 x nutritionist 1 x ...
Exercising13 Mar 2004 01:02 GMT17
I'm running for 5 miles a day for 5 days now.
I've never been a runner, but I'm turning into one.
I'm no more the most unfitted person in the park.
I'm not even the slowest, now.

My office is right next to the kitchen at work.  That is a struggle

scaremongering12 Mar 2004 22:18 GMT21
Hello folks.  In late 2001 I went on a VLCD.  I basically
ate chicken fillet and diet coke and a vitamin tablet as
the basis of my diet.  Each chicken fillet has 31g of
protein and is 200 calories.  It is packaged food.
Vegetables day12 Mar 2004 21:24 GMT2
The Herbalife spammers gave me an idea: tomorrow I will cook only
vegetables.
No pasta, no pizza (my pizza is pretty high in calories), little
bread, no cheese.

I was wondering if anybody could advise me as to what the lowest calorie
alcohal is?  I'm Scottish / Canadian and enjoy a drink (lol, tongue in

Thanx
