My coworker lost 30 lbs30 Apr 2004 18:16 GMT5
I started noticing that my previously obese coworker is not obese
anymore. I quietly asked him if he lost any weight, and he said to
have lost 30 lbs. I asked him how he did it, and his answer was, by
eating less and walking. He looks much healthier now, even though he
was wondering .......30 Apr 2004 14:47 GMT8

I am trying to aim right now for 1200 calories a day. Some days are a little
lower depending on what I eat , also the numbers maybe a little higher. I'm
also trying to maintain over the next  month as I am ...

Bad habits die hard30 Apr 2004 05:07 GMT12
It's in the 80's here so I took my kids and I for a walk and my 3 1/2-year
old asked to go to the bakery.  So we walked down there and I let him pick
out a treat.  Without thinking, I bought myself a cookie as well.  Rocky
Road flavored to be exact.  I paid for the cookies and as ...
Re 5K races30 Apr 2004 00:41 GMT22
Yesterday I attended a bridal shower for my niece, who's a marathon
runner.  I learned that she, her bridegroom, and 3 of her bridesmaids
were going to run in the Race for the Cure 5K next month.  No big
deal, but it's on the morning of the wedding :-).  I thought that was

I'm going to try to make my tomato paste- spinach - fish "stew" into a

oz spinach, and 4 oz fish in my stew.

Hi everyone, I'm new here.  I just started Dr. Phil's UWLC yesterday.  I am
5'8" and I weigh 235.  I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl the beginning
of February and my goal is to be at or near my goal weight of 150 by her
first birthday.  I've always been heavy . . . ok . .  FAT ...
7 Pound loss in 2 days?29 Apr 2004 19:02 GMT1
I got on the scale Tuesday morning and I weighed 235.  Today (Thursday) I
got on the scale and it said 228.  My scale is correct.  I certainly did a
double take.  I thought is said 238 for a second, not 228.
I'm on the Dr. Phil UWLC 14-Rapid start plan.  Did other people using Dr.
What's The Numbers Mean?29 Apr 2004 13:24 GMT1
Noticed on a lot of posters .sig files there are 3 sets of numbers. I imagine that they have to do with weight, how do I read them?

Update on Maintenance29 Apr 2004 02:33 GMT2
Well I have finished my 4th week in maintenance, and I am down another
200g ( 0.5lbs) I don't get it. I have upped the eating to find out a
level of eating for maintaining, this is now my longest run of losses
in the last year, most I had 2 to 3 weeks of losses then a gain,  but
Quick Update29 Apr 2004 01:33 GMT14
Made it up to the Center for Health Excellence(the place where I found a scale that can weigh me) last night. A little nervous about going, the last time I got weighed was last May and I tipped the scale at 510lbs...
Stepped onto the scale and had to do a double-take. 456.6lbs! 53 ...
SBD Day Two28 Apr 2004 22:49 GMT3
Day two went much better than day one.  For one thing, I ate enough
calories - 1500 as opposed to less than 1000 on Monday.  I am down to 138
for a total of five pounds weight loss.  I also walked an enormous distance
yesterday.  I had some letters to mail and the post office is ...
