Finding my motivation slightly waning . . . 07 May 2004 23:11 GMT21
I'm having a tough day today.  I have been doing so well for the last week
and now that I'm 1 week into it, I find my motivation a bit waning.  Yes, I
really want to do this and yes, I know it's a lifestyle change and not a
diet.  But I think I'm getting bored with eating the same ...
Joining Curves On Monday07 May 2004 20:52 GMT12
Dear Group,

A little bit frustrated...07 May 2004 19:53 GMT8

stalled. :-( I have not lost a pound in almost 2 weeks now. I am

I came across this link in an article on the high cost of low carb diets.
It is *not* a low carb diet and since it comes from the USDA it may not be
as weight loss oriented as someone would like but it could give someone
living on a shoe-string some ideas for stretching their food $ ...

On the news today06 May 2004 18:18 GMT10
I heard a little blurb about Pepsi putting a 'low carb' cola on the market.
Hello?  Isn't diet Pepsi already low carb?  I don't have any in the house but
the diet coke I have says zero carbs.
I'm thinking 'low carb water' will be next.  Maybe even low carb air.
SBD Update/lab/assorted ramblings06 May 2004 18:13 GMT4
Well, the good news is that the insulin pump has been shut down.  My little
pancreas is officially in remission.
The bad news is that I am not eating enough to stay healthy.

It really felt great.  I have started walking a mile ...
