A new day, a new life26 Jun 2004 01:47 GMT4
This morning I was up at 6 am and out the door on the bike.  I only had an hour
to ride so I decided just to ride in our neighborhood. My ride was cut short by
the rain, so I only got about 25 min but it was well worth it.
All of this is just to say how much my life has changed in ...

Pedometer Reading for Thursday 6/24 (10-Day Challenge)25 Jun 2004 21:26 GMT5
I didn't see a thread started for Thursday...so I'm kicking off one of my own.
My personal goal wasn't too challenging and perhaps not challenging enough,
6,000 steps. My steps for Thursday:

Summer "diet" goal25 Jun 2004 17:15 GMT19
My weight has been creeping up very slowly, sometimes creeping back down again,
but not by enough. So as of today, it's time to go back into "diet" mode for
the summer, back to weighing and measuring and to logging calories on Fitday.
In 2 weeks I ... 25 Jun 2004 17:09 GMT5
changed the way I eat, live, and work.
I have lost a pants size but I don't know how many lb's yet.
My new eating plan is really no big deal, and that is the biggest part of the
plan for me.  I just do what I need to do w/o making it a big deal.  So far,
Organic vs. Regular Peanut Butter25 Jun 2004 16:48 GMT14
OK.  Regular peanut butter.  Can be stored at room temperature.  This
is good.  Hydroginated oil (trans fat) - this is bad.
Organic Peanut butter - no trans fat.  This is good.  Says it need to
be refrigerated after opening.  This would be bad.  Is it really true?

Hydrogenated fats in Nitro-Tech bars?25 Jun 2004 12:55 GMT16
I eat 2 or 3 Nitro-Tech bars daily because they are VERY satisfying and
are high (35 grams, 300 calories) in protein.
My only concern is how much trans-fats they may contain.  I have looked
for the word "hydrogenated" but don't see it.  However, I do see

REALLY old clothes!25 Jun 2004 04:49 GMT11
Last night I found a box in the basement that was full of clothes from
the last time I weighed this little -- about 30 years ago.  I had fun
trying them on to amuse myself and DH.  A couple of observations:
- Sizes have changed.  These were mostly 12s and 13s, and I now wear
fell off for a couple of days..but 25 Jun 2004 03:56 GMT10
I fell off the wagon for a couple of days, and I fell hard. I don't know
whats going on with me. I have been having cravings and nothing I have tried
has helped to not cave in. Also I have not really been feeling all that
great either. I have had slight pains in my stomach and ...
Impasse24 Jun 2004 19:21 GMT21
I'm a 19-year-old male, five-foot-ten. Five months ago I weighed about 235
lbs, but I've managed to slim down to 181 lbs by exercising and reducing
calories. Only problem is, I have not lost any weight whatsoever this month.
I hit 181 in mid-May and have been hovering there ever ...

It's really nothing we regulars here don't already know but sometimes it's
good to hear it from "experts".  Also, there might be newbies who don't know
some of this.
