| The myths of fat acceptors have been blown apart today | 19 Jun 2004 03:34 GMT | 8 |
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Much to the chagrin of all of the fat acceptors here, I have provided multiple, credible cites that prove: 1) A person's metabolism cannot be wrecked due to yo-yo dieting.

| Zucchini and other summer squashes | 19 Jun 2004 02:12 GMT | 3 |
I was wondering, do yellow summer squashes have roughly the same nutritional contact as (green) zucchini? I mean, I am guessing the yellows are higher in beta carrotine but calorie-wise, I am guessing they are similar. Am I way off base here?

| Steel Cut vs. Scottish Oatmeal? | 19 Jun 2004 01:50 GMT | 21 |
Before I go out and buy anything, I wondered if any of our more knowledgable posters might know what difference there is between steel cut oats and scottish oatmeal, other than texture? The nutrition information I've gotten from the company (Bob's Red Mill) site seems

Could someone tell me what the best breakfast cereal is if you're on a diet? I enjoy all types of flakes and muesli, so if someone could tell me a brand name ( e.g. Kellogg's Bran Flakes ), I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

That's a great food. One brick of FFCC contains 240 calories, 16 grams of protein, 8 carbs, a good amount of calcium, and is also very filling. A good food item to eat in a hurry. The taste is not great, but good enough.

| Finally showing a downward trend! | 18 Jun 2004 17:54 GMT | 12 |
I feel like I "broke the curse" of having gained at every single nutritionist visit since November. Last Monday was my checkup and I weighed in at 228. I mean 158! What made me type that? I had to leave this mistake in this post because I think it's significant that perhaps ...

After two weeks on prednisone for poison ivy and a slight gain in weight I returned to the gym last night. The poison ivy has disappeared enough that I don't think many people will notice the few remaining red patches on my arms.
