I'm back, dumpy and lethargic15 Jul 2004 21:00 GMT17
It's noon and I'm still in my night-gown.  I feel fuzzy-headed and so
dumpy that I can't believe my size 14's still fit.  I'm scared to
weigh-in: I can see the pockets of fat that grew.  It was a week of
heavy drinking and less exercise than I'd expected.
Six months completed15 Jul 2004 08:28 GMT24
Today is the six month anniversary of my current diet and I am well pleased.
I've lost nearly 70 pounds and have gone from "obese" (BMI of 33.5) to
"normal" (BMI of 24.8).
In the 26 weeks I've only had 4 weekly gains, and enjoyed one stretch of 11
Update15 Jul 2004 02:11 GMT3
After the second round of poison ivy and prednisone medication for the
season I'm happy to say my weight is back at 148.  Maybe now I can see some
real results from going back to the WW at work sessions.  I had been down a
couple pounds but gained a few while on the medication.  My ...
I'm back15 Jul 2004 02:01 GMT1
Well, actually I've been home since Friday evening.  But this is the first
time I've felt like posting to the group.  I haven't gained any weight or
have anything in particular to bitch about.  I'm just very, very preoccupied
with getting ready for the move.  We found a wonderful ...
Business Trip15 Jul 2004 01:36 GMT1
Well, tomorrow starts my 2 week business trip.  I think I am going to take a
little advice from Rachael Ray of the Food Network and try ordering half
size meals.  I will see how many of the restaraunts offer it.
Wish me luck!
Another Goal Achieved!14 Jul 2004 22:26 GMT8
Just had to share this little goal. My wife, our son, & I live on a corner lot and the yard is a city lot & 1/2. Our grass takes up a good portion of the lot and is a bear to mow(we have only a power mower, no riding...sometime I wish...). Years past I could only do about 1/2 and ...
South Beach Diet  - stopped losing after 5 days14 Jul 2004 17:56 GMT16
Anybody experience a situation where you stopped loosing weight after
about 4 or 5 days on the South Beach diet?   Lost a lot in the
beginning and then leveled off.  Been holding steady for 4 or 5 days
now.  Not gaining, but not loosing.   Do you go down in "steps"?
I can't reach my butt14 Jul 2004 15:51 GMT31
I am new to these boards, and this site. I am a size 30 female, and I have
a problem that I am hoping someone can help me with. It is a delicate issue
and I am very imbarrased to ask but I have got desperate so I have to. I am
having a problem with reaching to wipe after a BM. My ...

It has been a long time 14 Jul 2004 03:14 GMT6
It has been a long time since I have been on this newsgroup. I need to get
back to being much healthier. I have gained weight since I haven't had the
time to deal with much except helping my dad deal with a brain tumor. He has
since died and I need to get back to dealing with myself ...
An anniversary14 Jul 2004 01:39 GMT16
So, yesterday was the two-year anniversary of my starting my new
WOE/WOL.  It doesn't seem that long, somehow, but I'm very pleased
with the result.
I've only been in maintenance mode for about 3 weeks, so am hardly in
Stopped in today for another weigh-in and I'm glad I did!13 Jul 2004 21:33 GMT20
Hi all --
I was so upset Monday with my weight of 160.25 at the nutritionist that I thought I
would try weighing again later this week when I felt more "unsalted" :-) -- so I
stopped in this morning after my workout. I was glad that the doctor weighed me
A Big Thank You and Latest Nutritionist Visit (blah)13 Jul 2004 21:30 GMT44
Hi everyone --
Thanks so much to everyone who made such nice comments on the photos I posted
yesterday. I really needed to get that support after seeing the results of my last
nutritionist's visit.
Insanity from Caffeine and Splenda13 Jul 2004 20:17 GMT12
Is this possible? I am not sure yet which is the culprit but when I have coffee
(usually with splenda syrups) I have a crash similar to someone coming off
cocaine! I get sick, heart palps, dizzy, aggressive, emotional....I used to
drink coffee all the time!! I still drink caffinated ...
Low Carb Cocoa13 Jul 2004 09:18 GMT18
Can anyone suggest a low carb cocoa that I might be able to get hold of in
Australia.  I'm a diabetic chocoholic which is an unfortunate combination!
Thanks for any help
