A different kind of night time snacking...13 Jul 2004 03:46 GMT3
Hi there. I was checking out the recent post from Heidicu on night time
snacking, and it made me want to ask my own question. Basically, I work six
nights a week at a convenience store. My wife prefers that we keep a similar
sleeping schedule on my day off, or we never seem to get ...
vinegar12 Jul 2004 20:35 GMT3
Lately I've come to like oil and vinegar dressings on my salads.  Actually I
even just prefer plain oil and vinegar.  Less oil, more vinegar.  The thing
is, I find vinegar to be a dehydrating thing, or at least it feels that way
if I have too much.  Is it like salt and makes you ...
I took the pictures12 Jul 2004 20:17 GMT33
After the suggestions here I took a side view and front view picture of myself
in a bathing suit.  I'm worse than I already thought.
I was going to go swimming w/ my DD after her class today .. but forget that.
I really shouldn't even be allowed to be seen in public.
HI, I'm New 12 Jul 2004 19:10 GMT8
Hello All,
Sounds like people are using all kinds of ways to lose weight.  I too make sure
to exercize and drink lots of water.  My problem is still late night snacking
but I've found a diet lollipop that actually curbs my appetite.  I've been able
Evening & Nighttime Snacking12 Jul 2004 17:03 GMT3
Hi.  I have a terrible time with night-time and Evening snacking/eating.
I can eat sensible meals all day -- eat a filling and satisfying supper. and
yet I can turn right around after supper and even though I'm full I can [and
do] sometimes snack till bedtime.
Aspartame, formaldehyde...NOT anti-aspartame propaganda12 Jul 2004 17:00 GMT3
First, I am certainly not anti-aspartame because I believe that even
if there is a slight risk from it, the risk from sugar, or more
accurately excess/empty calories is much greater, but I'm wondering
whether the study commonly cited by the anti-aspartame crowd about

tofu smoothie question12 Jul 2004 14:31 GMT4
I picked up some lite silken tofu to make some smoothies for breakfast this
week.  I saw that Mary's version didn't mention using milk - just tofu and
berries, but Beverly's does.  It is necessary to use milk?  Just curious.

Free weights suggestions?12 Jul 2004 14:30 GMT9
Looking for some advice concerning free weights and strengthening my
shoulders and arms.  I just began walking again after a very long time, and
it is great for my legs, but I need to work on the rest of me.  My arms have
always been scrawny, no muscle, and I can't afford a gym so I ...
Pedometer counting12 Jul 2004 12:34 GMT11
I went on a hike with my family this evening.  It took about an hour and
a half and was fairly rigorous - it went up a ridge and then back down
again - too difficult for the mountainbikes so we hiked on foot.
Anyway, I wore my McDonald's pedometer just for grins and chuckles.

Workout Clothes 11 Jul 2004 04:24 GMT26
I'm having problems finding workout shorts that are long enough or don't give
the Fat Chick Ride.  (FCR is the way some fat women wear shorts that ride up
the middle, I'm sure we all have seen it.)  I'm a fat woman (however I'm
currently in shrink mode) and hate that particular ...
some new observaions... deja vu for some11 Jul 2004 03:31 GMT14
I've been adjusting to my new WOE for several months now. There are alot of
things I'm still learning, and for me, it has been a slow progress. I'm sure
alot of you have gone through this already, so maybe you can enjoy my
musings. ;) (however long lol)
I've found some interesting snack choices11 Jul 2004 00:05 GMT1
We have Dollar Tree stores in this area (SF Bay) that sell some interesting
food items.  In the ethnic area I've found things like chili dried pineapple
chunks, chili and lime dry roasted lima beans and garbanzo beans, chili
flavor Japanese peanuts, and honey roasted soy nuts.  All ...
