"balance" in diet, calories, and other questions27 Aug 2004 13:20 GMT3
I have never paid much attention to how much fat/carbs/protein were in
the various foods I eat. I've always just tried to eat a traditionally

The subject of this post is an embellishment, but the results so far
are very interesting.
Should we be looking to being fit, lean, and strong couch potatoes?
Is there a limit to the number of calories you can take in ?26 Aug 2004 21:46 GMT7
Watching You Are What You Eat on Channel 4, there seems to be people
on there eating 10 to 15,000 calories (and more) a day .
I believe that 3000 excess calories is equivalent to a pound in
weight, but these 25 stone people are not gaining 3 pounds a day.

Has anyone done or doing this diet? I am so interested in this diet and

having read quite a few books on diets and dieting one shortcoming is
the lack of menu plans. they tell me what not to eat or what's good to
eat but I would really like to see the publishers provide weekly or
monthly dietary plans.

I'm going to visit my sister in Oregon for a little while, and I expect to do a lot
of walking and healthy eating while I am there (she is naturally thin with healthy
