Well, here's the data for the week I spent in North Carolina. Rather more food and less exercise than usual. There were some good reasons for both, though, and I don't feel any fatter :-). The calories weren't way over budget but the food choices weren't always too great.

I'm quite salt sensitive. After two days of a typical "American" diet with 6 grams of salt a day my bp went from 115/75 to 140/90. No more salt for me! It's taken 3 days of low salt to get back to 115/75. Low salt has another "benefit" - low salt doesn't taste as good so you

I was just watching the food networks show "low carb and loving it" and the guy made a dessert that called for a brown sugar substitute. I have yet to see anything like this in the stores and was wondering if anyone has seen this, used it, and where they have been able to find it.

I went to a convention last week. Yes, it was nice that friends and colleagues I had not seen for two years were astounded at my weight loss. But my WOL is all about health and quality of life.
