Is it better for your metabolism to consume the same number of calories each
day, or verying it? i.e. 2000 calories a day vs. 1000 calories on day 1, 3000
on day 2, so forth ...

I was trying to find a good place to get feedback on loosing some weight.  I
just got a new life insurance policy and on a scale from 1 to 17 (17 being

Yesterday was an odd day.  I didn't eat breakfast then went off to
gym.  Ate fruit when I got back.  I headed out to one of those
infernal food meetings and was truly hungry so I ate two small
(almost "mini") hamburgers and more fruit.

Just had to write and tell ya that after 14+ years, I finally saw
the scales read below #300!!!  I know it's only 0.2 lbs below, but it's

My problem is I'm in maintenance.
Last Fall I started a new Body for Life challenge (my 7th) weighing 176.
 I worked hard and about seven weeks later I hit my all-time lowest
weight ever as a grown-up; I was 168 in mid-October, right before I went
