I have many friends who have severe food allergies such as gluten and wheat
issues - so as a "hobby" I started experimenting to come up with tasty
treats.
I have spent approx. 1 yr in the development of a Gourmet Organic Vegan
Question...pant size goes down..weight stays the same10 May 2005 02:00 GMT1
I don't understand why my waist gets smaller but my weight remains
constant. I am on the South Beach diet plan but I am not overly specific to
it. I avoid the starch and sugar but that's it. How can I be the same weight
and lose inches?

I feel horribly fat today after eating out several times over the
weekend and avoiding the gym since Thursday.  I've only regained 0.5
pound but I feel terrible.
Will I ever have the strength to just say no to dessert or seconds??  I

They can't even weigh me...09 May 2005 21:56 GMT36
How depressing is that?  I'm not ever fully sure what I weight because
they're scale doesn't go up high enough for me.  (For the record
they're using a scale that goes up to like 385 or so...)
Gotta wonder how you can measure progress when you can't even weight
Nighttime cravings09 May 2005 18:14 GMT7
I have little to no trouble eating healthily and moderately during the
day. My problem comes late at night. I get intense cravings for high
sugar and high fat treats. I have always had trouble sleeping and
binging seems to help this but I want to stop. Do you folks have any
Veggie challenge starts Monday09 May 2005 15:26 GMT16
Thanks to all for the great suggestions on eating more vegetables. In
order to encourage myself--and perhaps others--to incorporate some of
the ideas I am starting a veggie challenge. I envision this challenge

On eating vegetables09 May 2005 09:12 GMT38
I am still trying to adjust to a healthier diet and to this end I am

salads are becoming boring to me. Anyone have some tips for sneaking a

Surviving the In-Laws07 May 2005 21:31 GMT5
For 3 weeks, my home has been a revolving door Bed/Breakfast to family.
They are all gone now.  I survived another year of the in-laws.   This one
wasn't that bad.
The last formal exercise was a few weeks back when one of our ASD members
