update to my weight loss journey01 Jul 2005 00:35 GMT9
Hello friends!  It's been awhile, over 4 months, since I last posted.  I'm
still maintaining my weight loss in the 10-pound range I had set for myself.
For those who don't know my story I began my weight loss journey in January
of 2004.  I am 75" tall and weighed 268.  I had been ...

bread, versus the same bread with peanut butter and raspberry ...
The low carb stench29 Jun 2005 20:12 GMT13
People on these low carb diets must be the loneliest people in the
world.  I cant see how anyone would stay married to any of them.
Their breath stinks worse than a sewer.  For some reason, low carb

Food & Exercise -- 6/27/200528 Jun 2005 20:45 GMT3
Began the day at our hotel in Philadelphia, where I got in a workout
before breakfast.  (They had quite a nice health club.)  Later we had
breakfast in the hotel and then a leisurely drive home, stopping at a
restaurant for lunch.

I'm reposting this question differently...
Instead of 'monitoring software' how about 'planning software' ??
Does anyone know of any program that will let you sit there and key in
various foods and ingredients when you are planning meals or dishes and/or
1) Protein per Day 2) Low Fat/Calorie Breakfast are ??28 Jun 2005 20:37 GMT6

Food & Exercise -- 6/26/2005 (yesterday)28 Jun 2005 18:01 GMT4
We had an excellent day yesterday.  I got up early for a two-mile run
(before it got hot).  In the late morning we left for a leisurely
drive up to Philadelphia, where we met Nunya B. of ASD and her DH.
Apart from the chance to meet in person (which was great -- she's
Emotional Barriors to a "poundage"?28 Jun 2005 04:44 GMT26
Hello.  :)
So, here I've been going gang-busters since last October with the weight
loss--good eating, lots of exercise--, but for the last 2 months I've not
lost weight that stayed off  (213 today, 213 on 4/15).  Here's what I'm

...and I bring good news for myself to the folks here, if'n you remember
me...
ignoramus once told me - and I'm paraphrasing - "you've got to just DO it.
You have to stop finding f.cking excuses and just change your lifestyle."

My department is going out for a birthday luncheon today.  The birthday
boy selected a Cuban restaurant for the celebration.  Given the choices
on this menu, what would you select?

My kids made it for father's day dinner. I liked it. It was sort of
like spicey Mexican lasagna. It was rather spicey, but that's what I
