Food & Exercise -- 7/2/200503 Jul 2005 14:09 GMT3
A lazy Saturday.  I hung around at home in the morning, then went out
for a light lunch and to watch a local pony show with some friends.
Bought a few groceries, came home, made turkey meatloaf for dinner.

Question about eating out03 Jul 2005 11:23 GMT12
Yesterday night I went for a concert in the city and we ate at a fancy
steakhouse. I ordered the salmon, which I rarely eat (wild + steakhouse
made me give it a shot, and I loved it), and I don't really know how
much I consumed. It was about 1.5 inches tall and 5 inches long. It
Looking for grilled fish suggestions03 Jul 2005 11:19 GMT7
Hoping to grill this weekend. What are your suggestions for the best
low-fat fish for grilling? Seasonings?

Hi there!  I haven't had the time recently to spend here regularly, but
I wanted to check in and report on my progress - and congratulate
everyone else on theirs too! :)
I've lost nearly 80 lbs. so far, and while I'm completely thrilled and
Another wacky challenge...02 Jul 2005 21:55 GMT5
at just the wrong time for USAians ;-). I propose a sleep challenge.
The importance of sufficient sleep in weight loss has been noted in a
few recent studies one of which is listed below. The challenge will
work as past challenges; determine a goal and post the goal and actual

A bit of a messed-up day, from the eating perspective.  I worked at
home and went to the gym with DH.  We'd planned to go in late morning,
so I didn't plan on lunch first.  But we got delayed by a series of
phone calls from a friend (Tom, our ex-trainer and sort of "surrogate

Has anyone used Optifast?  If so, please share with me your progress.

Food & Exercise -- 6/30/200501 Jul 2005 21:26 GMT6
A more-or-less typical Thursday, except that I went out to eat at
lunch (Indian buffet), rather than eating at my desk and then running
or walking.  I went to the gym after work for my usual Thursday
session with Ahmed, then bought a few groceries and came home.

Matty's Monthly Update - June 200501 Jul 2005 17:42 GMT5
Hope your summer is going well! It's been hot and muggy, but that hasn't
stopped me from walking. I keep thinking about how I was walking in the
sub-zero temperatures last winter wishing it were warmer. I wanted to thank
all of you who donated money for the Lakeshore Pregnancy ...
