Doctor in trouble for 'insulting fat patient'30 Sep 2005 17:36 GMT27
This physician should be commended for telling the woman the truth. Can
anyone please tell me what this doctor said that wasn't 100% correct?

Trying to get bak on track....30 Sep 2005 15:50 GMT38
I've been lurking quite a bit lately and not posting much but today I

It seems like I just keep going in circles. I do really well for awhile,
and then really bad for awhile and around and around. I have fallen ...
Sodas30 Sep 2005 13:27 GMT5
Has anyone ever read the nutritional labels on sodas? It's absurd - 40g
of sugar per 12oz can, almost a saturated solution. Worse yet, it

Nutrisystem Update29 Sep 2005 22:19 GMT2
I began the Nutrisystem food system three months ago. Some posters
suggested it wouldn't be helpful in learning how to eat properly outside
the system, but I thought it might be an eye-opener about portion
control (which it is). I continued to overeat outside the Nutrisystem
The inevitable plateau29 Sep 2005 19:25 GMT7
When I started my weight loss, everyone told me that sooner or later
I would hit a plateau.  I accepted that intellectually.  But I lost
close to fifty pounds, and pretty steadily without that much trouble.  I
began to think that perhaps my new way of living would let me continue
Diet and Exercise29 Sep 2005 17:53 GMT10
I have a friend who has successfully lost 70lbs in the past year
working with a dietician.  From what I understand, the dietician
focuses on limiting carbs and sugar,  and having many small meals
during the day.  This I understand;

bit every day, and I'm actually at my lowest weight now on this diet

What tricks is everyone using to add calcium to their diet other than
supplements?
Try to make counting calories or points easier29 Sep 2005 00:11 GMT1
Yesterday I had an idea to start making meal cards. I got me a recipe box and
some index cards. I'm going to start writing down my meals with portion size,
of everything that I had for that meal. And that why when I have that same
meal again I can just look at the card and know how ...

bed as soon as I got home as I had to get up at 3:30 a.m. on Friday to
catch a plane to Minneapolis.  Friday I flew there, spent time with
