Blender for health?07 Sep 2005 01:42 GMT5
Is a Blender such as a VitaMix a good investment for
healthier eating?
Or just another gadget to spend money and set on the
counter unused?

Newbie Q: Where do I fit in?06 Sep 2005 20:30 GMT5
Hi.  I searched for a forum to talk about my diet and weightloss, t
keep motivated and on track. But I am not sure what forum to post in
Is it "low fat"?
My diet is sort of home-made based on advice from different people
Another small loss on the scale to make my day06 Sep 2005 15:25 GMT4
Yes, I admit it. I do seem to be too obsessed with these daily
weighings. When the scale doesn't move, of heaven forbid moves upwards,
everything is cast in doubt. If the scale moves downward, the future's
so bright I gotta wear shades.
Leptopril Question06 Sep 2005 15:09 GMT2

Need a little mid-week support :)06 Sep 2005 02:10 GMT20
I have to admit to being a little "down" this week so far, mentally,
about my diet - although I'm not by any means risking going off it!
The problem is this...
* Friday I had my weigh in - 118.0 kg.
Diet Forum Moderators wanted06 Sep 2005 00:48 GMT2
Hey fellow dieters.

Milestone report - lost more than 20 lb! (and summary of my diet method)05 Sep 2005 16:30 GMT13
I'm happy to report that after 51 days my total weight loss is now 9.5
kg = 20.9 lb!
Method: Low-cal plus exercise - 1700 calories/day limit plus 1000 weekly
bonus calories (avoids frustration of strict daily limit); can carryover
50 Day Report - and the scale ticks down again05 Sep 2005 16:27 GMT8
Day 50 Report
(Yes, I post a lot of reports :))
The scale ticked down again this morning, so I am happy to head into the
weekend knowing things are on course, with a total weight loss of 9.0 kg
Week 7 report - down 1.0 kg for the week05 Sep 2005 16:23 GMT3
My weight ticked up 0.5 kg this morning - the morning of my weekly
weighing. I don't know if yesterday's was a random tick-down or today's
is a random tick-up, but I'm not going to attempt to fudge it and will
just report an honest 1.0 kg = 2.2 lb loss for the entire week. Not ...
Day 48 Report - down 1.5 kg so far this week - and a skeptical note about Diet Coke05 Sep 2005 15:42 GMT9
Day 48 Report
The scale ticked down yet again today.
At the beginning of the week I switched from Diet Coke as my main
beverage to plain, unsweetened green tea. This is after seeing no weight
B&B - Calories?05 Sep 2005 14:50 GMT3
I have searched and searched but I cannot find the answer to this question:
How many calories are there in an ounce of B&B, the liqueur by DOM?  B&B is
a sweet drink so I'm sure it has more calories per ounce than, let's say,
vodka.
