Food & Exercise -- 10/10/200512 Oct 2005 03:12 GMT6
A fairly typical Monday.  Went to the gym in the morning -- a bit
earlier than usual, as I had an early meeting.  And due to the holiday
-- all the government folks off -- traffic was much lighter than
usual.  Ted was out, so I went for a run at lunchtime.  It was a
Drink Water!!!!  :)11 Oct 2005 19:24 GMT9
Hi all.  Been lurking for a while and decided to share an epiphany I
had.  Well I had stalled at a certain weight for over a week after a
couple of months of steady weight loss.  I had also noticed symptoms of
dehydration, mostly because I hate water and don't really drink a lot
Just leek soup on week-ends?10 Oct 2005 19:21 GMT8
There is a book called, "French women don't get fat", in which the
author suggests the reader to have only leek soup on week-ends. Do you
think one would have enough energy to continue his exercise plan?

Hung out at home this morning, then went to the gym after lunch with
DH.  Tonight I went to my wine tasting group, where I led a session --
a blind tasting of "Rieslings from around the world".  As always, a
bit of a splurge evening.

I've just started a diet about a week ago. I had sat around alot after
finishing school and decided to get into gear and lose the weight that
I had gained.

Soy Milk09 Oct 2005 12:21 GMT5
While it may not be as unhealthy for me as NF milk, I do not like the taste
of this milk.  However the chocalate flavor I can stand.
What flavors exist for this milk?  I have tried Chocolate, Vanilla, among
others.  Does a strawberry flavor exist?
Low GI foods09 Oct 2005 02:28 GMT6
My physician has told me that I need to modify my diet to include more
low GI foods. Can anyone point me to a web-site that shows the GI of
unprocessed and possibly processed foods?
TIA
