A friends son(12yr) is trying to lose weight, he is getting teased a lot at school etc. We all started going on bike rides after school etc but its now dark in the mornings and evenings so he doesnt want to go out on his bike now for safety

A fairly typical Monday -- gym, then work, with lunchtime walk. (It was another gorgeous day -- cloudless, high in the low 70s.) I came home early to avoid being on the road after dark when the trick-or-treaters are out.
