Normal Friday - housework, laundry, errands and grocery shopping.
I spent most of the evening decorating my bike for the Christmas parade
tomorrow night.  I haven't decorated a bike since I was a kid<g>   The
weatherman is predicting snow and sleet tomorrow night so it might get a

I've had enough... I'm sick of being this fat and I'm going to loose it
but I need help!  Anyone out there want to be an e-mail buddy/ nag to
help each other stay motivated...

I spent the day driving down to my mom's home in North Carolina.  Then
we did a quick shopping run -- for a sale she wanted to hit that was
ending today -- then a casual seafood dinner out.  I'm posting from the
retirement home library computer.

I know I sent an update last week (a week early) in reflection of
Thanksgiving and had talked about having peace of mind about gaining 1lb.
Today should have been the 'official' weigh in so I decided to check the

I was able to do this tonight, 40 laps in 25 metre pool, in 50 minutes ?
Is that any good ? I like to just improve my own exercise goals, but

Wow...where did this month go?  I'm not ready for it to be December.
The usual 10 hour workday.  Went to lunch with my department for a couple
birthday celebrations.  I checked the Olive Garden menu before hand and was
able to pick a low-cal entree.  Dinner with my daughter and ran ...

i've been able to work in a few hours of road biking as of late (i was
out for around four hours today!) and have abandoned (albeit
temporarily) the gym, including my regular weight training routine
(three days a week: chest, back, lower body/legs, in addition to cardio

Worked at home today, as I was recuperating a bit from the oral
surgery and on drugs.  I spent the day reviewing a government document
-- a draft guide for system engineering source selection. Tonight we
went to the country club for dinner.  I didn't feel that much like
