Nasty Women @ the Gym13 Apr 2006 22:59 GMT35
I have noticed a trend of women at the gym using the equipment, such as
the exercise bike, sitting on it, and not wiping the equipment when
they get off!
The other day some woman in some of those black spandex flare pants got
Eating less, feeling good, waking up at 1 a.m. (?!)13 Apr 2006 20:17 GMT2
So a few weeks ago (almost three), I started trying a "Body for
Lifesque" program: essentially, counting calories, eating balanced
meals four times a day (6:30, 10:30, 2:30 and 6:30, in bed at 9 p.m.
and up at 5 a.m.). Aiming for between 1600 and 2000 calories a day
Meet me in St. Louie...13 Apr 2006 17:14 GMT5
I will be in St. Louis again - this time at a much more leisurely pace -
from May 5 until the 28th.
My purpose this time is to spend three works looking for possible property
to buy, so I will have lots of time to spend going around.
Nothing works!13 Apr 2006 16:04 GMT11
I am trying to lose weight but nothing works!  I but a app for my Palm
called Handheld Diet Diary by Calorieking.com.  It encourages no more than
2,600 calories a day.  I have been trying to follow this, and have been
under 2,600 calories on many occassions. But I still am not ...
couple of rough days13 Apr 2006 13:54 GMT1
but it is good to be back. Amazing how quick you can get into a
downward spiral- the miracle is that I can pull out of them. As always
it is a combination of stress, work, that first fatal bite of something
wrong and lots of bad decisions after that. It is interesting how the
Escape Card13 Apr 2006 05:11 GMT2
Exercise is my "Get Out of Jail Free" card, like in Monopoly.
Many is the morning I put on my leotard, take out the dogs, return to
have breakfast and postpone exercise for a later that never comes. Then
I am cross, tired, feel guilty and lazy.
The Historian's Update - nearly 50 pounds lost!12 Apr 2006 10:13 GMT16
Hi fellow ASDers,
I've been busy, and haven't had time to post here, but I thought I'd
fill you in on my progress. I tipped the scales at 336 on Tuesday,
bringing my total loss to 49 pounds since January 3. I've been trying

Tried it for a while, never again.  Even if they start giving it away.
Can you say "anal leakage?"
One thing that is helping me lose weight and exercise is FitDay's
software.   Keeping a record of my food and exercise helps me stick
lost 30 lbs11 Apr 2006 16:22 GMT15
I lost about 30 lbs by  low calorie diet (  from 230 to 200 lbs) in
about 2 months.
I have reached a point that I am not losing anymore weight , it doesn't
seem to matter how much I excersize or how low calorie food I eat.

I'll admit it.  I'm overweight.  In fact, it has been a constant
struggle throughout my 40s to lose weight.  I exercise regularly, but
that only helps me maintain, not decrease, my current size.  That said,
I started researching information on the food that I eat.  I was
If you could go any where in the world?11 Apr 2006 00:35 GMT18
I know that doesn't have much to do with ASD but it might distract some
of us from food for a minute - thinking about where you would most like
to go if time & $ wasn't any issue.

Scale?10 Apr 2006 21:50 GMT7
I'm not interested in any of the features except what I weigh ! What are
a good pair of scales? Mine have got me crazy as they fluctuate and I
NEED one tat I can trust. What's everyone using for a good set of scales
that doesn't  cost badly!
Beano helpful for dieting?10 Apr 2006 21:29 GMT4
I searched but couldnt find a definitive answer,  but its enzyme appears to
be a "carb-blocker"
so it would seem to be useful for diets along with its advertised use.
Anyone have personal experience taking it daily?
