OK, so I turned 49 yesterday. Today, I did my 4.6 miles and then I went to the CVS pharmacy to re-stock on bandages and bandage tape. I took my blood pressure at the machine and it was: 84/56.

I've been drinking a lot of diet drinks but have been reading about the dangers of aspartame and want to stop. What can I be drinking instead which doesn't contain aspartame? I drink water throughout the day but really like something sweet with meals.

I heard that you need some carbs before workout to help burn fat .. Not sure if this is true or not.. Anybody know about why you would need the carbs and if they somehow help burn fat ?

There's an interesting article in this month's Men's Health magazine. Apparently, it's been "scientifically" determined that you can do 5 exercises, 3 times per week (less than 30 minutes per workout), and get the same results as someone who spends hours in the gym isolating
