| Getting enough fibre? | 30 Nov 2006 16:32 GMT | 6 |
I maintain a fairly good diet, about 35 % protein, 20% fat and the rest carbs. Despite eating all whole grains and lots of fruits and veggies, I find it hard getting enough fibre. I'd like to get about 30g a day but usually get between 18 and 25. Is it worth my while taking some

| Food & Exercise -- 11/29/2006 | 30 Nov 2006 12:23 GMT | 1 |
Went to the gym this morning. Then, after having lunch at home, went over to my friend's new winery. DH and I are investing in the winery and I went by to exchange some paperwork. Other than that, haven't done much constructive, but it's been a pleasant day :-).

| Is overeating (being overweight) an eating disorder? | 28 Nov 2006 15:19 GMT | 4 |
When people discuss eating disorders they usually talk about anorexia or eating and purging, but it seems to me overeating is the most common and deadliest eating disorder. Just as people who seem too thin and are unhealthy but do not recognize it, there are many more who are

| It's That Time of the Year Again | 28 Nov 2006 08:07 GMT | 3 |
God willing, I'll be entering either year eight of keeping off the weight or containing it within a "two pound box." When fall falls, and outdoor exercise time shortens I notice I hover at the top of the two pound limit (I weigh evry day) and it's time to plug the leaky rowboat

I can hike again! I walked 7 miles in 2.5 hours. It's a minor milestone, along with being able to fit into booths at a local restaurant without sucking in my stomach, but it feels good. :) 335/321/215

Hi, people. I just wanted to touch base, even though I didn't post a regular "weigh-in" report on Friday. My family were VERY surprised when I showed up here in Boston! And thanks to the person in the donut shop I-don't-know-where who led a
