soy milk question30 Apr 2007 18:39 GMT3

Are Protein Supplements Made in China??30 Apr 2007 15:00 GMT4
All the recent talk about contaminated wheat gluten in pet foods from
Chinese sources has made me wonder: just where are protein supplements
made, anyway?  Are they made overseas, in China, like so many other
things these days??

Had a pleasant day today.  I went for a run in the morning.  After
lunch I went by the winery for a barrel tasting (where you sample
wines that are still in the making directly from the barrels and can
buy "futures" if you wish).  Then I went to hear my good friends Mike

"Glycemic Load" study29 Apr 2007 18:54 GMT17
The key to the report on this recent study is that people who ate equal
calories had the same weightloss results.  This is to be expected.  It does

Help! How to cook beans?29 Apr 2007 08:09 GMT11
Well, I had planned to make a big pot of chili tonight and I thought I
would try to cook my kidney beans from scratch.

I'm conducting a special weight loss experiment to find a diet product
that actually works. So far, I've found 1,733 products all promising
to help you lose weight fast.
Now I know that most of these products are a load of BS. With

I went to the winery and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and a
snack while sitting out on the terrace.

Still auditing -- long work day followed by quick gym visit.   I'm
tired out -- I've pretty much been working about 10 hours each day,
commuting close to 2 hours, and spending an hour or so at the gym.
Tomorrow is our last day, and we should wrap up mid-afternoon.  I'm
Pedometer and calories (and small diet update)27 Apr 2007 15:58 GMT9
Things seem to be going well the last couple of weeks. I've dropped

lose another 10 kg, but things are under control. And the most
